I think mine came from a poorly produced batch, hence the 2/5 stars. Physical appearance – I liked the slim design and how light it was. Picture – While the contrast is typical, I found the colors to be off-pitch producing a more washed-out look. I did tinker with the contrast/brightness/color settings and it just wasn't up to snuff. The sharpness was fair, but then again, 1080P on a 24" display isn't going to yield crisp images. Quirks – (1) After I plugged in my laptop to this LG monitor, I noticed the screen had flickering noise/scratches (like old cinematic projectors) - especially noticeable on blacks. (2) The other issue that bothered me more is that my panel, in particular, had inconsistency in the color temps. So I load up a couple websites with all white background and find that the left third of the LG panel is slightly warm (think soft white light bulbs) while the middle and right sides are normally cool (daylight light bulbs). This annoyance was what made me finally decide to have it returned. My suggestion would be to look for another brand. Though buying this on sale and not being as picky with picture quality minus the flaws could be a good value, it's definitely not worth buying at $199.

Bought this for my son's gaming computer. He's super happy with it - no issues!
