Great in- store experience, and great product value.

This is just an ok monitor, its cheaply made guess thats why it doesnt cost much..... I am happy with the purchase because it is not on an important pc but being used on a server

This was a definite upgrade from my previous screen. My only issue was connectivity to the desktop. It came with an HDML cable, but I was never able to get it to work. Switched to typical connectivity, and it connected immediately

The monitor has great picture when hooked up to cable, but the display quality is poor when hooked to a laptop.

All in all, this monitor does what I need it to do. The brightness will randomly dim for a few seconds at random which is kind of annoying, but it is what it is.

Good picture and use as 2nd display, Bought in an emergency from a limited instore selection. No built in speaker HDMI out and made in China make it a poorer choice.

Good monitor, but it's nothing special. I'd use it for a second monitor if you need one.

It does not feel like it lives up to it's description, I went in with low expectations to use this as my 2nd monitor and was pretty disappointed.

amazing color and quality until 6 hours after we bought it. Then a line appeared down the middle of the screen! Best buy took it back for a trade!

Super simple monitor. Not the best quality, but after just using a laptop for over a year, this does the job. Had the item for over a month now, the color seems to sometimes fade in and out.

it does not turn on right away. It takes three mins to sign up so that the monitor turns on!!!!!!!!!!!!

Average product. Loose HDMI socket. Have to adjust sometimes to get the connection back.

I bought this monitor about 7 months ago and was using it as a third monitor. It was great until about a week ago when a single, vertical, dotted line suddenly appeared. However, as suddenly as the line appeared, it vanished a day or two later. Tonight, I turned on my computer and the vertical line reappeared on this monitor. A few minutes later the the monitor began flashing, the picture became distorted and numerous red horizontal lines appeared. I turned off the monitor, unplugged it and now, 15 minutes later, the monitor will not even power up. A third monitor is paramount for my work, so tomorrow when I purchase a new monitor, you can bet it will not be an LG. Sure glad this monitor wasn't very expensive.

Work monitor, oddly requires my device to plug into specific HDMI port otherwise I'm unable to alter display settings. Picture on monitor not as clear as I would prefer.

Overall is good, but using VGA is very unclear. The Audio is working at all. I may need to contact manufacturer and claim my warranty

good built LCD, but after several days using, still could not be used to the style of fonts on the screen. Had to return it, and bought another brand. Check the LCD in store before buy it.

The LG - 24" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor is a great monitor when it comes to doing the things it is designed for and then some. First, it should be noted that this is not a high-end gaming monitor but it surpassed my expectations when it came to displaying everything I threw at it which included various games. This is likely due to the FreeSync technology which is supposed to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering, neither of which I have experienced with this monitor. The picture quality is amazing but what really stands out is how amazing the quality is regardless of the viewing angle. My kids and I like to play games and watch each other play but with the way our system is setup, those of us who are watching aren’t always able to view the action from optimal angles. With this monitor, that really isn’t an issue and this can be attributed to the IPS display. They really mean it when they say this monitor “delivers bright, vivid visuals from almost any direction”. Another great feature is the antiglare coating which actually does a pretty good job of minimizing reflections which enhances the viewing experience. The visuals produced are much easier on the eyes in comparison to other monitors I have worked with in the past. The only slight drawbacks I have noticed with this monitor are the size of the bezel surrounding the display and the limited adjustments that can be made with the included stand. Neither of these things are really that big of a deal given how great everything else is (and how great the viewing angles are without having to move the monitor) and they probably help to keep the price lower than it otherwise would be if both of these things were upgraded. The monitor cannot be raised or lowered and it does not rotate side to side but it can be tilted up and down. When it comes to installation, it really couldn’t be easier. It truly is “plug and play” which means all you have to do is plug in the included power cable and connect it to your PC using either an HDMI cable (one is included) or a VGA cable (not included). There are two HDMI inputs on the back of the monitor as well as one VGA input and one 3.5mm audio output jack. Please note that you will need to use an HDMI cable to connect the monitor to your computer if you want to use the 3.5mm audio output jack since VGA does not carry audio. The second HDMI input is a very nice feature as it allows you to connect a second source to be used with the monitor such as a game console. It is easy to switch back and forth between the two inputs with the joystick-like control knob which is located on the bottom side of the front bezel in the center of the monitor. I really like the feel of this little knob and appreciate the quick response from the monitor whenever I use it. I really wish more monitors used a similar control knob. Overall, this is a great monitor regardless of what you need a monitor for and I highly recommend it!
