I only had it 7 months and it developed vertical lines covering about a half inch in the middle of it. I brought it into geek squad. They said something had shorted out the led strip so I was out of luck. I am guessing something was spilled on before I bought it. Anyway I am out that money

I saw that this one was on sale for $109 and decided to get it. The picture on this monitor is horrible, especially when sitting right next to my ASUS. The text is not as crisp, graphics are blurry, and videos show lag. I tried adjusting the picture settings, but could never get it to look right. This looks like SD resolution. I see that the regular price is $199, I'm not sure if I'd say it's worth the sale price I paid. This will be going back to the store.

Very grainy and doesn't look HD at all. Also the monitor stand is not very sturdy and shakes when you type. Overall I am just very disappointed in it. I will make it work for the time being but at the first opportunity I will be returning it. Perhaps I am just accustomed to using 4k monitors, I can't overlook the price point with this monitor. At $150 I guess you get what you pay for.

Assuming it was perhaps dropped and it affected the picture. Only reason for my one star because I don't know if it was a faulty product or it was dropped in transition. I ordered online for store pick-up. My fault for not setting it up right away. Missed the two week deadline to return. :/

It stopped turning on when connected to my laptop a few days ago so I thought it was maybe the power cord. I replaced that and it still did not come on so I can only guess that it's unusable now. Which sucks since it's been less than 2 years and I had to quickly buy a new one since the warranty is only for a year so no point in reaching out to support.

Good Simple HD Monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you need a monitor with good color, bright at 1080p resolution then this is a good choice. I got this as a IPS panel to allow for good color for some artistic drawing done with my computer. I find the size and color are good for my needs. It does have Freesync, but you will need an AMD card, as this monitor does not appear as GSYNC Compatible. Also note this monitor is HDMI and VGA Cable only. It does offer two HDMI ports, and I believe the XBOX One is Freesync compatible so you could add an Xbox One as well as your computer. It does have a few game mode features like an onscreen crosshair so show the center of the screen, and when I played Forza Horizon 4 I didn't notice any tearing and was able to play without issue. Overall if you need a simple no-frills monitor and have an AMD Graphics card this is a good choice of a monitor. Only down side is the stand. While it tilts there are no height adjustments so if you need to raise it either you'll be using books or getting a different stand to mount it.
