It took some getting used to, I just lowered the brighness. The base is about 2" taller than the old one, that took some getting used to also (for my neck). Having 2 HDMI inputs and an audio out is a big plus. I connected a PS3 to the monitor. Generally pretty happy with this one, and I hope it lasts 10 years like my old LG did.
