  • Very noisy now. BAD MOTOR after 3 years

    Bought 3 years ago as a kitchen remodel with the matching refrigerator and stove. Unfortunately, within the last 6 months-year, the motor has developed a very loud "whirring" noise through the cleaning cycle. It's to the point now where we have to run it when we leave the house as the noise is unbearable. Come to find out its a common problem with this model. To be fair, it started out very quiet and efficient. The motor part itself is still under warranty, but by the time I'm done paying for the service call ($75)+ labor ($250) I'm well on the way to a new dishwasher. Will probably just let this one burn up and then invest in a Bosch/Kitchen Aid/Kenmore. Avoid this one if possible.

    It is a quiet dishwasher, but it has never gotten my dishes clean. I have to rinse and scrub all food off before washing.
