It's doing the dreaded beeping at the middle of the cycle thing that seems to be happening to a lot of people. I used to be able to hold the door shut and it would continue the cycle, but now that doesn't work. Looking forward to paying a lot for the repair.

We tried waiting on the repair company that LG recommended in November and it’s still not fixed in February.

Left loads sitting overnight after washing and all of the next day. Went to unload it after 36 hours and the dishes were still wet and the dishwasher walls and door were still wet. The venting system is a bad design, since it vents it down the door and out the bottom of it. That causes condensation and it drips water in the floor. Other reviews mentioned but but I figured it was just a bad unit or two so I gave it a try. Tried it several times over 2 weeks and gave up, uninstalled it and took it back.

Best Buy said we have to deal with LG and LG sent technicians multiple times and they still haven't figured it out. Not replacing it either. Still waiting!

Normally I will rinse and quickly run a sponge over the dishes before I load the dishwasher. Now I have to scrub everything clean and there’s still small pieces of food left after I run it. Also, it is so loud. Everyone says how quiet it is, but mine is not.

I hope something helps once the service guy can come out and check it. Also, the extra dry cycle can run for HOURS. started before work, and returned to it STILL DRYING.

It looks like water insider the filter doesn't drain completely so that may be the cause of the smell. Plus it does not dry the dishes well.

Stops Mid-Cycle, 2 years old

Lots of communication forums on this with a lot of people having the same issue. No suggested resolutions or comments from LG. Called LG and they could not help and suggested I get a tech Orion to come out and of course it’s only a 1 year warranty. Ran ThinQ and came back with no issues. Had to buy a new control panel for $215. We will see if it fixes the issue and for how long.

Two service appointments later (Best Buy and LG service reps), it still won't drain. I'm hoping that my next service appointment with LG will take care of the problem, but Best Buy has washed their hands of the problem since my first service appointment was outside of their 15 day return policy. And I purchased a 3 year service warranty. Unbelievably unhappy as I handwashed dishes all Easter weekend next to my brand new $1000 plus dishwasher.

Avoid at all costs

I've contacted LG about it multiple times and they promise to get back to me... and they never do. Contacted BestBuy with my "TOTAL TECH SUPPORT PACKAGE" about getting help and a hour and a half later they made zero progress and told me to contact LG again. In conclusion, I'm sure this stuff will break and get zero support then too. I wish I had bought another brand.
