Now they’ve basically ghosted me. 3rd LG product that has needed a repair within ~2 years of purchase, joke’s on me for buying them I guess.

Over the years, and after pre rinsing most dishes, the dishes got less and less clean. Now were in our 4th year and have to buy a new dishwasher. We keep getting an OE error. We have cleaned the drain line, taken this thing apart and still get the same error. Not made like they used to be. For over 1000 when we first got it... to last this long is awful.

We had it repaired a few months after the warranty expired and now it’s broken again. It will not drain. It doesn’t dry the dishes. It takes 3 hours to go through a cycle. We had our Whirlpool for 9 years before we had to replace it. So disappointed. We will NEVER buy another LG appliance again.

Even after a dishwasher cleaner, it smells. It should smell clean after a load is washed, but it doesn't. I don't know if the plastic stinks or what it is. The racks are awful. If you pull out the bottom rack, it comes off track and you have to lift it back on. The top rack is just OK- not really enough room on the sides for mugs. I've chipped mugs already using this. It's very quiet while washing, but the noise pumping out the water is loud. What good is a quiet wash cycle if the draining is so loud? Just don't!

AFTER 1 YEAR, PUMP BREAKS.

I troubleshooted and determined the pump was the culprit. I bought the geek squad plan but they use a 3rd party to repair. i told both best buy and their 3rd party what needed to be replaced so I can stop washing dishes by hand. Neither listened. There was a 6 hour window from the company to visit and the technician did not bring the part. "we don't carry LG parts and we have to diagnose before ordering" was their excuse. Don't buy LG and don't purchase the geek plan!

Paid over $200 to have it fixed and it is now broken again. Now I have to purchase a brand new dishwaher and there is no remorse from the technician or tech support that I pay extra for as well.
