This dishwasher is actually fairly quiet. I love the top little rack for knives, etc. It's also really quiet, which is great. I love that the top rack and that I can adjust the middle rack for different sized items.

This is the most ridiculous excuse for a dishwasher I have ever seen. The cycle time for a "normal wash" is over 3 hours. THREE HOURS just to wash dishes. Also, the "normal" cycle does not include extended drying time, which is absolutely necessary to get your dishes even somewhat dry because - direct from the LG Support Line "LG does not utilize a large surface heating coil for the drying cycle." WHAT? This is how dishes are sanitized in the dishwasher - by the application of external high heat. And now, apparently, I'm stuck with this terribly inefficient dishwasher. I purchased this dishwasher online as I learned during my search for a new dishwasher that really no "brick and mortar" appliance stores actually keep dishwashers in stock. I had to either wait 2-4 weeks for the store to order it into stock or order online. I chose online. Best Buy only allows a 15 day return period for appliances. I unfortunately had the unit delivered and installed while I was out of the country. When I returned - more than 15 days later - I asked my installer if he had tested the dishwasher. He said yes. I opened it up and found the inside covered in heavy water spray. I asked my installer when he tested the dishwasher and he said several days prior. This means that water was sitting inside the dishwasher for days collecting bacteria and potentially starting to mold. Yuck. I read the user guide without finding any type of reference to this problem. I ran the dishwasher again, specifically selecting "heated dry." After the second cycle the same thing, water spray covering the inside of the unit. I called the LG support line. This is when the agent actually told me that LG dishwashers do not use a heated coil for drying and that there is no remedy for this problem. HER ONLY RECOMMENDATION WAS TO USE A DRYING AGENT. SERIOUSLY? A DRYING AGENT? That is an unacceptable remedy. This dishwasher also does not have any way to simply select an extended drying cycle. You have to select a full wash cycle, the shortest of which I could find was over 1 hour long. Extended drying increases the cycle time to over 4 hours. After an even closer inspection of this unit, I found that the door is not attached correctly and therefore does not close straight. The right side bangs against the inside edge of the unit. The bottom hinges on the door are loose. My installer informed me that this unit was delivered by Best Buy just wrapped in plastic - not in a box - and without any type of delivery documentation, receipt for purchase, installation parts, etc. I now wonder if I was given a beatup floor model or something. I will never know. The reviews on the Best Buy website for this LG model were across the board 4+ stars for this model. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS. LG acknowledges that they do not use high heat drying coils in their dishwasher units. This model (and presumably all LG dishwashers) will not dry or santize your dishes. What a waste of time and money. I think this unit is going to the junkyard.

Very quiet. Cleans dishes spotless. Love the turbo setting.

Compared to our old one, we love our new LG dishwasher! Spacious interior holds everything neatly - no need to pile things in. Plus, you can barely hear it running - literally have to stand next to it, and even then it is soo quiet (our old one could be heard upstairs).

The dishwasher is very quiet when in use. Cleans dishes well.

Solid dishwasher. Love how quiet it is for most washes. Turbo is a little loud but not terrible! Reliable app/wifi feature that I've used several times to make sure the load I have in there is indeed clean. Haven't had any issues in the last year or so of ownership

Looks great,quite. 3 hours and 10 minutes to run a load.The Silverware basket is on the bottom rack and on the right side,the door is not spring assisted making it harder to load.

This dishwasher looks great, runs quietly. The only issue i have is the lower rack jumps off track when it is full and you're trying to remove dishes

So far so great. It is performing as expected. Dishes came out clean and dry. I replaced the dishwasher that came with the house after only 4 years of use because it stopped working and bought this LG dishwasher and I really happy with the purchase

Great machine, quiet and does a great job of cleaning.

I am waiting for the install because the 3rd party installers, apparently, couldn't turn a bolt and were afraid it would bust the pipe. I had to call a plumber. The plumber fixed it in 2 minutes. He did say there was a chance they could have broken the pipe and flooded the kitchen, so I appreciate the caution. I just wish I could use the product I bought March 30. The installment dates are two to three weeks after purchases! So, we will wait a month. BUT, it gave me time to read the instructions!

Great upgrade from the 16 y/o dishwasher that came with the house. Such a huge sound improvement! Part of me wishes I went with lower decimal (maybe 42), but I now I can actually hear the tv without bumping the volume up to 70 while the dishwasher is running!

Excellent dishwasher. Gone are the days of washing the dishes so we can put them in the dishwasher. Works great. Cleans plates with dried on food. We don’t have to even scrape the plates clean. Cleans everything and the pressure clean is great. Excellent dishwasher.

Very happy with our new LG dishwasher. It looks great and does a good job of cleaning the dishes. Its is a little louder than I expected but still much better than our old one.

Top rack has good layout for wine glasses. Bottom rack good for dishes. Less good for bowls. Lacks a 1-hr quick wash. Power wash is about 2.5 hr.
