The top rack wouldn't move in or out smoothly and prevented the door from closing all the way. After two visits from LG service, I returned it and replaced it with a Samsung.

Very disappointing quality on the build / controls

I had best buy come out to repair both of those problems. Now after another 7 months, the dishwasher will not turn on. Very disappointed with the quality of the build on this machine.

Previous LG didnt have 3rd rack, but interior capacity was much larger. 1 less row of interior upright prongs. Can't get fry pan in bottom level as in previous model. Sometimes improvements are a step backwards.

Yes we are optimally places dishes for water flow. The wash also takes 2-3 hours to finish. Heavy wash works much better and will default to that going forward
