    Absolute Garbage. Wife HATES this dishwasher. She's a hippie and loves everything but now, I have seen murder in her eyes. What good is a dishwasher with a rack on wheels come apart so easily. We've had three wheels come apart in total now. Cheap plastic wheels barely held together. Now we have the inside metal bearings all over. We were unable to locate all of them. We had less than a month when the first one came apart. Went to Best Buy and sorry.... it's been more than 15 days.... 5 weeks and a $1200 dishwasher starts to come apart. Nothing, Not a care in the world. I will absolutely not recommended any appliance purchases from BB to anyone at anytime. In addition, for all the options, bells and whistles this thing advertises.... Does not dry well by any means. The dry boost, it is just another button to push. The cleaning is ok but we have had several loads where we are having to reclean and we're a family that nearly cleans the dishes before using the machine. Any wild dreams of just put the dish in and forget about it..... let your nightmare begin. All the fancy fold down risers for larger or flat items.... already had to put one of those back together... I'm telling you straight up. I read the reviews and I was fooled. Fooled by LG for a legit stand up product. Fooled by Best Buy and the Magnolia team for any concern or care for a near 30 year customer. The crazy thing is.... I love my LG fridge and my LG washer and dryer.... LG really let me down here and then Best Buy twisted the knife.

    LG dishwasher failure, stay away

    Nothing whatsoever to like here, top price for bottom quality. After a couple months the control panel cracked (not covered) a few weeks later it would stay on and would have to turn back on several times to get it to continue. Now that it's a year and a half old, it's totally dead and the cost to fix is $550 for no warranty if it is still not working after that and LG will not do anything to help. Since this was broken before the 1 year lie of warranty and they wouldn't do a single thing, LG is now a brand I will never consider, I hope more people do the same.

    Crap Dishwasher

    I love LG products expect the dishwasher. I trust LG products but this machine gave me a headache. After one month, middle rail was broken because of the cheap Lg parts. Then, I contact with LG, I waited more than one month for rails. They said the wrong rails to service guy. He realized it when he arrived my house. Anyways, I called LG again and spent another one hour to get correct parts. Long story short, I waited almost two months to get middle rails. Even if it is their fault, I have to wait for their super smart part department plus their super smart service person. I would not recommend any LG dishwasher product.

    The interior has begin to rust wiyhin 8 weeks of lihht use, Cascade detergent used exclusively. Customer service blamed me for what appears to be a poor quality materials issue.

    We replaced a 10 year old LG that we were very happy with. Never had an issue with it until one day it just died. Loved the addition of the interior lights on this new one. It is just as quiet as our old one and cleaned beautifully. About a month in, the top rack started to get stuck. Both going in and coming out. We couldn't close the door and nothing seemed to be blocking it. We'd have to jiggle it until it gave. Two weeks later, we found ball bearings on the floor of the dishwasher and now the rack won't move. We bought the Best Buy warranty but have to go through LG this early. It is nearly impossible to get status from them. We never got an email confirmation of our repair request. Apparently, they are mailing us a rack that we have to replace ourselves. Can't get tracking information. And when I asked for status and an email confirmation of our repair request, I felt scolded when she told me it was a "part replacement request, not a repair request". We are very disappointed in LG and their service. We find it insulting that we are unable to use our pricey 6 week old machine and now have to fix it ourselves...whenever that might be.

    If I could send it back I would! The door fell off when the band that holds it snapped. The lower tray wheels melted and broke off - all of this happened within the first four months. Warranty might as well forget it. Parts are either back ordered or not available. Dished seldom even come clean, I forgot this Is a dishwasher - I have so many other issues I forgot what it is supposed to do. Water pours of the bottom, so buy enough rags to soak it up

    Middle rack issues

    First one we received, the middle rack bearings fell out after 3 days. Best Buy replaced it and a week later the door would t close right because the middle rack gets stuck and won’t go in all the way, causing condensation leaking at the top. Best Buy is going to replace it again but with a different model.

    It is a very nice dishwasher and has a led light to make the dishes appear nicely cleaned. That is about it for the pros. The issue is that this is designed for those who use a 10-piece dining set. It is not for the families ... those that use 6 water bottles or who use a lot of bowls and cups in a week or use glass food storage or bakers who need more space. The problem is that the pings are not meant for water bottles or they are poorly chosen based on the space. I thought i would like the top tray, but i have to use the silverware tote anyways because the top tray does not allow for stirring spoons, ladles, spatulas, etc. I also need it for the water bottle straws. So, the top tray has little purpose. I thought buying a new dishwasher also meant savings, but this runs longer than my previous 2002 dishwasher. I also have to run it more often because it does not hold as much. The auto setting is 2 hrs 34 minutes. The normal is 2:25. Why bother having basically the same settings if the auto is not going to save you significantly more time and water. Lastly, I'm not sure if this is a me issue only, but the bottom tray does not stay out when loading. It rolls back in. The installers did a good job, but I had to adjust the bottom, and that did not help. It is my wifes biggest issue with the dishwasher.

    It couldn't have gone worse. Shawn the installer disconnected the hose from the old dishwasher to the garbage disposal and it’s foul waste water spilled onto the floor of the kitchen sink’s underneath cabinet. The stench was so foul, I thought it was one of the two men's body order so I didn't say anything. After the two left, I looked under the sink and the floor of the cabinet was wet with waste water. It was disgusting to clean up. What made me mad was Shawn had to have seen the water come out and also smell the odor and ignored it. Also they didn’t turn on the cold water to the sink. My wife looked into the dishwasher after it completed its run started by Shawn and found an uninstalled part – “the sound insulation sheet” as per the instructions. After the first run, we unloaded the dishwasher and found packing tape still stuck to the top rack and not removed by Shawn & his helper. I doubt these 2 were plumbers, so I am contacting the Plumbing Licensing Board in OK. More later… do yourself a favor and do NOT let Best Buy install anything. Sad.

    Top rack broke within two days! It is extremely difficult to slide back into place. Even though I am a Best Buy Total member, I had to go through LG for repair - one month later, still waiting on a part that they expect me to install!!! We have also experienced incomplete cleaning of items on the top rack. Since the placement of the dishwasher is not adjacent to the sink, we were forced to pay extra for the installation (the included hose is too short - installer had to go to Home Depot for parts). I am past the return date so we are stuck with this mess. I cannot recommend this product

    We received this dishwasher and 2 weeks later the 2nd rack broke. Best Buy replaced it. 3 weeks later the same rack broke. We asked them if this is a common issue. Best Buy said no. We called LG about it and they said yes it’s a common issue. LG came out with a better version. Hopefully the issue is fixed. Do not buy this version.

    DO NOT BUY. We were very excited by all the features this dishwasher has, but the sliding racks break constantly. We had BestBuy replace this dishwasher 3 times and all 3 times the racks broke. And because I called Home Depot 16 days after the replacement came (policy is you only have 15 days to return or repair items), Home Depot won’t replace it.

    Dealing with Bestbuy on this purchase has been a NIGHTMARE. product arrived missing parts. it took 4 days of trying to make the help desk folks understand what was wrong. I spoke to 5 different people before I got someone who could understand me and that I could understand them! If you are answering calls in the US, you should be able to speak fluent English and be understandable to the target audience. Now I'm getting calls that my delivery of a replacement unit has to be rescheduled and every time I call, the automated system says my phone number isn't valid and hangs up on me. BESTBUY customer service is HORRIBLE. I will NEVER buy from BESTBUY again. I'll take my business to Lowes or HomeDepot.

    The middle rack was very poor and would not close properly. This prevented being able to close the dishwasher and run it. Just called LG service and will have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks and all they are going to do is send a part that I have to figure out how to install.

    All LG products are trash and poorly designed. We purchased this dishwasher last year (delivery: 01/24). It worked and did what it was supposed to do. It broke after a year and a half of usage. The CONTROL BOARD failed, and after taking a month with Best Buy Geek Squad to install a new control board, the next day it broke again. What is funny about this new board is that it was supposedly a newly designed one, since there was a service bulletin out on the original board. Please save your money and purchase from another manufacturer because LG does not know what they are doing. We bought a refrigerator that had an icemaker that broke in only a few months. They should give up and just stick to televisions.

    The glasses rack broke after 1 use. After confirming the dishwasher was level they sent another rack to us after 6 weeks. The new rack lasted about a month before failing. I would stay away from this model.

    Within a year, the machine started giving a gurgling sound. Expected more from LG. Top rack is useless, always leave smaller items either unclean or soapy needing to wash again. The bottom rack is poorly designed and the gaps are big for the items to fall out

    This LG dishwasher tripped the circuit breaker and repeatedly blew out a surge protector. If it had worked , it has too many complicated options. Regular cycle is over-long. It is also too big for standard dishwasher depth.

    Condensation in the tub constantly. I have used rinse aid, dried the tub with towels, just about everything, the dishes are dry but the racks are wet. I dry them before I close the door, but that does not help. Unless you leave the door open 24/7 the condensation continually builds the entire time if the door is closed. Huge disappointment. Just missed my return date so now I am going to buy another dishwasher - not an LG.
