The second rack kept falling out anytime you tried to push the rack all the way in. We spent the next 6 months going back and forth with Best Buy. Turns out the 2 year protection plan is useless if you're out of their service area (rural Colorado) and they wouldn't do anything past making a couple phone calls. When Best Buy found out that there are no third party service guys in our area either, they shrugged their shoulders and said sorry, your SOL on a $1000 dishwasher. Anyway, after wasting that six months, we went directly to LG who, after multiple phone calls with multiple people, couldn't understand the issue we were having, sent us a whole new rack (without the part that we *actually* needed to fix it) and we ended up buying the part to fix it ourselves. Worked for a couple months and is back to falling out when you close the rack. Half a dishwasher is pretty useless. Won't be buying more LG large appliances. And won't be working strictly with Best Buy for large appliances from here on out either.

The top rack rail broke 2 weeks after. A new one was replaced with a new dishwasher. I am now on my 3rd dishwasher. The top rails are not very dependable. Hopefully, 3 is a charm or I will be buying a different brand.

Fully extend the upper rack and locate the two roller assemblies on each side.
Pop each roller off its track wheel and visually inspect for any plastic debris or misalignment.
Clean the track grooves with a soft cloth to remove buildup, then snap each roller back onto the rail—listen for an audible click to confirm it’s fully engaged.
Gently slide the rack in and out a few times to verify smooth, secure movement without lifting off the rails.

Upon attempting to draw out the rack with slight force, the rack's ball bearings began falling into the tub. Not a happy camper. I would not buy, nor recommend, this unit to anyone.

This was only because they were lying to us. Was delayed by 2 weeks. Sales person- Lance, was rude and no help. Ended up cancelling and buying from Lowes. Was two hundred dollars cheaper, and they waved the $94 delivery charge. Best buy wanted $150. Best buy is not the store they used to be, absolutely no customer services!!!

I bot this model for the energy rating but I wish I looked more closely at the configuration of the prongs.
