This dishwasher is as advertised!! So quite that one can stand directly next to it and cannot tell if it is running or not. Dishes always come out clean and dry, with the dry boost option it makes the dishwasher money well worth spent...definitely recommend to family and friends.

Wasn’t sure what we were looking for went to two other stores first they all had us waiting 2 to 3 weeks. Not sure even what to buy got here had so many people helping us out even the manager came which was not the first time in the last couple months. After a few choices decided on this one and couldn’t be happier so quite (much quieter than my Bosh) and the dishes come out unbelievably clean.

I got my dishwasher yesterday, hooked it up myself, and loaded it up. I love the look of it as I just replaced a 9 yr LG dishwasher so I know I wanted another. I got the cycle going and while it was running it was so quiet. Once finished I opened up and the dishes were clean and all dry. And I love the lights on it as well, in case I needed to open it up in the dark. I love it!!

So far great, I washed amazing and is very quiet, easy to level, and awesome tray layout. I have to try all the wash cycles but I will say the quick wash cycle is it only fast but does a great job washing.

I contemplated purchasing between the three models which after much research, I discovered were the same dishwasher with different decibel levels. I ended up purchasing the mid model, which is 42DB only because the higher priced top-of-the-line model was out of stock. But I’m glad it was because this dishwasher works perfectly and is quiet and there was no reason for me to pay the extra $800 For the.Signature model.

We truly love our new LG dishwasher! The features we love the most are how quiet it is (42 decibels) and the one hour wash cycle. Our dishes come out sparkling clean! The stainless steel fingerprint-resistant finish matches our new LG gas range.

Wonderfully quiet unit, hardly know it is running. Very logical and modular drawers and the light inside is extremely helpful in seeing what you’re doing.

Such a great dishwasher! We got the entire ThinQ set and it’s so easy to keep track of my appliances with the app. I can also diagnose my dishwasher in case something happens. It cleans and dries very well and nearly makes noise when working. It also looks very nice and elegant. Very happy with my purchase!

*1 hour wash cycle. Yes, it is true. Yes, it works amazingly! I have teenagers that load my dishwasher and in 1 hour this dishwasher cleans 120% better than my old dishwasher could in 4hours! **It also has 3 drawers. The top drawer is small for silverware so you don't have to have the chunky silverware basket on the bottom shelf. This gives you even more space! ***It has lights! I never knew I needed lights until now! Such an amazing upgrade! ****It has 4 directional spray. so it sprays from every side! It has Dynamic Heat Dry to circulate hot air so the dishes dry faster and without streaks and spots. *****It also has ThinkQ technology so you can get notifications on your phone when a wash is done. You can also ask your Google assistant or Alexa about the status of your wash cycle! Run and buy this dishwasher, you will be happy.

Absolutely the best dishwasher I've ever had. The inside LED lights are a game changer and this one actually is quiet and leaves dishes clean dland dry.

I’m writing this as my 1.5 year old dishwasher is being repaired by geek squad as I type. It’s getting a new motherboard and a new drain pump. I’ve had it a year and a half and it’s already cooked. It was turning off in the middle of cycles and randomly turning on in the middle of the night. The interior lights would just go on whenever and stay on for hours with the door open. You need to keep the door open to minimize the smell of mildew after using it. We bought this to replace a 1 yr old whirlpool that had a door that rusted after 8 months. The overall quality of these appliances is horrendous. This LG has WiFi and I can’t image why anyone needs WiFi on a dishwasher. But I wouldn’t recommend this model.

My wife and I never really used dishwashers. We moved into a new place that had a fairly new dishwasher and it didn't change our opinion at all. After debating it for a long time we decided on this model. My wife and I now use a dishwasher every few days. I really like the steam function on this LG, though I was advised by the installer to be careful on opening the dishwasher mid wash (careful for kids). You can opt out of a steam wash. I also like the LG app that lets you monitor the status of your wash. I like to empty dishwasher as soon as I get the alert it is complete with the wash. I also enjoy the light inside and the top pull out drawer for utensils. It is also very quiet and sometimes I can't even hear it when its on and I am 15 feet away.

This dishwasher is very disappointing. I read reviews of dishwashers before shopping and then was swayed by the sleek, smoothly operating interior and the low noise level. LG seems to have a good reputation so I purchased LDTH797** (or LDPH797** --a top-level machine. From the very first load, I found utensils that were not clean, particularly knives. Then baking dishes with dried-on remnants that should have been easily removed. Now the latest are a set of Southern Living clear plastic tumblers that have looked great for 6 years, but now have scratch marks and cloudy spots all over them. (This, I just noticed in the last couple of washes. Some are worse than others, but I know they all looked good before I bought this dishwasher.) The attached photo of the tumbler shows the bumpy surface of the tumbler with cloudy areas, some on bumps and some on dimples, but definitely on the exterior. The scratches around the bottom are inside! Since pools of water gathered on inverted mugs, I had tried using high heat to dry, so I switched to Low Dry Boost when these marks appeared. It is frustrating to load the dishwasher. The top shallow rack is fairly useless since only the very lightly soiled will get clean. The upper rack for glassware does not have good spacing. Tumblers will fit and regualr coffee cups, but the narrow row that will hold juice glasses allows the glasses to fall over and hit each other. The middle row is so wide, only the widest items can safely be placed there. The lower rack is even worse. There are basically 3 sections. Plates and dishes fit in the outer two, but the middle is a wider spacing so anything put there is just sitting upside-down catching all the water spray and taking up more room. My previous dishwasher was a 13-yr-old Whirlpool; it cleaned very well and held everything steady and at an angle that allowed all to receive water spray. Unfortunately, Whirlpool did not get high ratings so I did not consider them again. I should have paid more attention to the rack design of the LG. Photos: bits of food splashed onto knife, upper rack inefficient spacing, cereal not removed from bowl, residue on glass, lower rack poor spacing of tines, cloudy marks on outside of tumber and scratches around inside of tumbler. No idea how this could happen, but was not there before Pros: very quiet, sleek exterior, racks slide smoothly Cons: Food left on some items then dried on by high heat. Water pools on the bottom of inverted cups and mugs.

This dishwasher did a fantastic job of cleaning up a week's worth of dishes and it was so quiet I wasn't even sure it was on except for the small light on the front.

I had a Bausch that was a lemon. I purchased a LG/top of the line and I love it. It’s the best dishwasher I have ever had. It gets stains out of my cups which the Bausch could never do. It is stainless steel and steam cleaning, etc. The Best!

This LG dishwasher is super quiet. It is so quiet that I can't hear it running. My old dishwasher was very loud. The third party contractors who delivered and installed the dishwasher did a great job. The old whirlpool dishwasher was removed and the new one installed in 19 minutes flat. The new dishwasher leaves my dishes clean and dry. I especially like the feature that dries the dishes overnight by periodically turning on the fan to remove moisture from the dishwashing tub.

This machine is great in terms of look and functionality. I love the light inside. However the touchscreen where the controls are is made of plastic and cracked right by the start button. they said this is a known issue but lg stopped giving out the part number so it is trickier to fix.

Great dishwasher. Spacious and with the stainless steel inside, it looks so clean and sleek. The 3rd rack is a game changer!
