Amazing machine. Dishes are spotless, can’t hear it run what so ever and the display is the coolest feature. This thing is like a new member of the family to us with the amount of cooking we do. Can’t say enough good things about it!

This dishwasher is great. I love the interior light. The dishwasher is not noisy and it’s easy to use!

We replaced a Bosch dishwasher with this model, and are much happier with the interior layout and the cleaning efficiency. It is even quieter than I imagined it would be! Delivery and installation went quickly, and the installers was extremely professional and courteous.

I mean I know this is 42db, but no joke... the only way we can tell it is running is when it stains and the sound comes out of the sink. Took 2 weeks to get used to that. Cleans great. Lots of options. It replaced an 8 year old model so we are getting used to arranging dishes differently but with the 1 hour cycle and how quiet this is we run it more often so it doesn't get as full. Definitely recommend!

Previously had a GE diswasher. It was loud and didnt clean he dishes and silverware well. This LG is great. Third rack is great for silverware. Second rack you can easily adjust the height. Super quiet. Very happy with this selection.

After extensive research comparing the latest Bosch model with the LG counterpart, we ultimately opted for the LG, primarily due to its cost-effectiveness. I had been using a Bosch dishwasher for approximately seven years, but it started experiencing issues with its heating element. In contrast, the LG dishwasher has proven to be a significant upgrade in terms of cleaning and drying performance. With my previous dishwasher, I used to pre-rinse the dishes before loading them, but with the LG, this extra step is no longer necessary. I was pleasantly surprised to find that even stubborn food residues like cheese and dried-on leftovers are effortlessly removed. Moreover, the LG dishwasher excels in its drying capabilities, allowing us to load dishes directly without pre-rinsing. Overall, the decision to switch to the LG dishwasher has proven to be a practical and cost-effective choice, providing superior cleaning and drying performance, while eliminating the need for pre-rinsing. It has definitely exceeded our expectations.

Quiet machine that is above expectations! The 1 hr cycle with 1 pod cleans every single time and I run the dishwasher at least once a day!

The new LG dishwasher is so quiet it doesn’t matter when you run it! I love the pull out silverware tray. The separation of utensils gives a cleaner look to all pieces. No spotty dishes after drying cycle.

This dishwasher is so quiet, you will hardly know it is running. It cleans well. My one pet peeve is that there are too many instructions to follow. I actually had to read the manual to use it properly.

Great dishwasher. Really loving this dishwasher. The light inside and stainless tub really shine - the light is a feature you never knew you needed. It dries really well - which is what I was looking for - we use a lot of microwaveable dishes and plastic containers - previous dishwasher stopped drying the plastic and did not clean the plates very well. Very quiet when running. Has more featurs then we will likely use - like remote start - but impressed so far - been about 3 weeks.

Very quiet and efficient. Display time is only the time remaining on the cycle not a clock. The ThinQ tech had me questioning if it would be worth it, but getting text from the washer when it needs additional Jetdry or to be cleaned is a great function. My wife also thinks it’s hilarious when I text her from out of town that the dishes are done! The heater drys quickly, as long as there aren’t pools of water like in cups or bowls

Super quiet and cleans right every time. No need to pre-rinse plates. Best drying dishwasher we ever has. Small fan turn on after wash to pull out hot moisture from inside allowing dishes to dry spotless. FYI...LG and Miele are the only 2 brands od appliance makers that actually make all their own materials that go into their products. All the others outsource theirs from 3rd parties. Thats probably why this uint has 10 year motor warranty

After a big leakage problem with the competitor brand we had and even though we booked this reluctantly, it proved be an excellent product. It works very well, cleans good, silent and efficient. Also would like to appreciate the Best Buy manager "Sean" for excellent guidance and support for thsi and other products we bought together.

Nice dishwasher, the door does not stay down like the previous one and the rack keeps going back in when trying to unload. Quiet, seems to clean pretty good.

Finally decided to upgrade our dishwasher and was so happy that I went with LG and this model (LDPH7972S). Truly love the 1-hr wash/dry, true steam, the print proof finish, dry boost and night dry. Using this with Cascade Platinum+ and Rinse Aid have left everything so majestically clean. Utilizing LG ThinQ to add more control and information seems gimmicky at first but indeed helpful and powerful. Overall, can't go wrong with this one not to mention the excellent buying experience I had with Ty (BBY Bridgewater, NJ). The installers too did a wonderful job of putting in and haul-away of our old one. They even replaced the sink drain pipe to connect the new dishwasher drain hose. It'll be perfect if LG have added Machine clean, Express and Night Care cycles on it. Still, so awesome waking up every morning to put away sparkling and spotless dishes and it does its job quietly too. Indeed, Highly recommended!

We love it! Tons of space over our old 10 year old Frigidaire model. Tons of cleaning options as well. We spend a few days looking over models on line to were we just got all flustered and i said.. we gota just go in and look them al over on display and see what we like as my wife wanted adjudtable racks and selectable sized spines? Lg was the only one haha.. that became aparent right away between all makers. So from their their top model hit all the bells and whistles with the quad 3d wash.. prently of jets to get everything clean.. Internal LED light also is a wow when ya open the door! Steam clean and quick dry options all on the top model.. yeah. Where do i sign? Also the LED count down on the face is also important to know how much time left on the clean cycle. Got the money for this model?? Look no further.. oh and the questiest model ;) BUY IT!

It's pleasing to look at and it works quietly and produces outstanding results. I would like to be able to see the level of rinse aid product without having to use the phone app. I like the 3rd top rack and I like that the 2nd rack height is so easily raised or lowered as needed.

This is a very new model by LG. It is super quiet at 42dba and has a sleek design. The 3rd rack is really useful for spoons, knives and flatware. There is a digital clock on the top that helps you know if it is on. Comes with everything needed for the install. Very satisfied!

Very quiet, the racks roll smooth. I disliked that the basket for the utensils is one whole long piece, verses my other dishwasher that gave you the option of breaking down into three pieces. It’s going to take me some time getting used to organizing the dishes to fit but overall it’s really nice.
