Now I wish I had stuck with a suboptimal dishwasher instead of spending $1200 total including installation for this LG. After a month, it began turning off randomly. Now, it won't turn on for more than 2 minutes before turning off again. This is after TWO visits from LG repair, HOURS ON HOLD with LG, and now having resorted to washing dishes by hand for MONTHS. Repair person said that control boards for this unit have to be shipped from South Korea, which takes weeks on end. I have been a Best Buy customer for years. This is the absolute worst purchase that I have made from any retailer of any category in my entire life. No dishwasher for Thanksgiving. Thanks LG!

With no heating element things aren't dry after cycle unless I leave the door cracked for awhile after. If I leave the door shut between washes it smells when it opens up. I had a whirlpool that didn't have stainless steal inside and didn't have this issue. Bought the stainless steal inside because I thought it was better, but now I have a smell. Not happy about that. So I leave the door cracked all the time. When installed the base plate at the bottom does not cover all the way across I can see the 2 white feet from both sides, I was told there was really nothing that I could do about it. Make sure it will work in your space.

Then if it does start it will stop working in the middle of the cycle. It doesn’t dry dishes well at all. Wish I would have kept my old dishwasher that was 20 years old. Worked way better. It started every time and it dried the dishes. Photos show how it’s loaded and it won’t run because it doesn’t like something.

That should have been my clue to go with another brand. After having this dishwasher for a year, it's time to make my review. This has the makings for a great dishwasher, but the it just misses the mark. The third level pull out never gets stuff clean. The manual says not to rinse plates only big chunks, when I do that nothing is clean. You have to be very careful when loading it and whatever you don't let you kids or teens load it...LOL The light inside doesn't stay on long enough for you to load or unload. Unless your just throwing something in it fast. The tines are constantly falling down, you almost have to force them to stay up, they don't lock in place well. I have to clean the filter almost once a week (even though we rinse the dishes before washing) as we will start to get a greasy film on glasses and plates. Oh and yes I use a good Rinse aid. I have tried about everything. All in all I would say this was not worth the money they are asking for it! I should have went with another brand. I replaced an old GE that didn't work for crap either, but that was only a $300 dish washer compared to this one.
