Disappointing purchase

I called and they only suggested disconnecting the power and starting over. The third time I used it, I again received the error code, and it also started making a loud noise. Again, they really offered no help; only draining it and disconnecting. The fourth time, I recorded the noise, after receiving the error, and contacted LG on its website. After ordering the dishwasher on September 30, I am finally scheduled for repair on December 13. Very disappointing.

They outsource their repairs to a 3rd party company that doesn't bother to show up for appointments, or follow up in any way. The customer support is awful and will only transfer you to the 3rd party company. I'll not be purchasing any more LG products in my lifetime.

Not Impressed

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After waiting 3 months to get DW (replaced all kitchen appliance), and 5 reschedules on BB side, DW was finally installed. Three loads later, I'm incredibly underwhelmed by the performance of this model. It does not wash well (even rinsed dishes) or dry well...and the racks keep rolling back in when trying to load/unload. There are not enough tines on the bottom to place plates. I removed the silverware rack to gain more space, but there are no support tines in that area. On the plus side, I do like the 3rd rack for silverware, although it takes some getting use to to individually place each piece between the separators. Note: Have an 8' metal supply hose on hand, in case standard 6' is not long enough.

Too complicated

Product does not work and still not replaced

I have had two appointments to remove and install an exchange unit scheduled and canceled by Best Buy (Oct 1 and Oct 6) on the day of install. I am now scheduled for Oct 15. The prior dishwasher was old but it worked. This is new and doesn’t work and the post support has been horrible. We will have gone 30 days without a dishwasher and that assumes people show when scheduled and the product works after it’s installed

Not an LG again

It stuck out about a half inch past the other side which is why it would never sit flush with the cabinets. Returned will try a different brand

We have had the dishwasher for just under 2 years. The warranty is only 1 year. To spend this much on a dishwasher and be almost dead in less than two years is ridiculous. Next, we have to decide if it worth fixing or replace it again.

Unprofessional Installation

Too expensive to be so horrible.

This is the WORST dishwasher I have ever owned. Dishes are not cleaned well. Nothing on the top rack gets clean at all. Water stays in the bottom of the dishwasher and will need to be drained between running loads. It’s a horrible dishwasher.

Frequent Water Inlet Error

Since the past month, it starts to have IE error (water inlet error) frequently like 80% of chances. It's painful to deal with a broken dishwasher for a family with kid. especially when you spent almost $1k on a dishwasher and only used its "normal" mode, and it's doing the job.

Not living up to its name or my expectations

This dishwasher feels cheap when you open or close the door, or when you move the racks. It’s awkward to fit dishes in, and it doesn’t clean the dishes well—an average of 4(!) dishes come out dirty every cycle. I’ve tried to give it a chance, thinking I just need to get used to it, but I hate it.

Stops cleaning after two years, no support

LG support is no use and won’t sent anyone over unless the dishwasher tells them it’s broken. It’s a badly built product to begin with (everything is flimsy and breaks easily) and it never washed truly properly.

Do not buy!!!

Didn’t dry the dishes. A cycle took 3 hours. Then a few months after the warranty expired we had it repaired for $600...that’s half of what we paid for it. Now it’s January and it won’t drain. Now we’re going to have to spend more money just to get a new dishwasher. It has even been two years. What a waste!!!! Our Whirlpool lasted 9 years...we will never buy LG again.

It doesn't wash nor dry the dishes well. I feel that I paid way too much money for something that doesn't function. Not only does it take hours to complete a cycle, the dishes come out soaking wet even after using "extra dry" or "night dry". My 100 year old dishwasher did a better job at washing and drying, and it had none of the bells and whistles.
