    I bought this dishwasher about a year and a half ago and within about 2 weeks it would not power on. Best Buy replaced it with another one. Then about 8 months later the dish racks started to rust and had to be replaced. Now the top control panel is cracking and LG will not pay for replacement part or service leaving me stuck to pay for both. Before you buy this product consider this review. I should have bought a Bosch dishwasher.

    Barely lasted 3 years before the motor went out. The coating on the racks has come off and the adjustable parts have all stopped working. Worst purchase

    Cheap junk!

    I’ve owned this for a month now. The top and bottom racks are an absolute pain. The top rack wobbles horribly when pulling it out. You have to juggle it to get it back in. The bottom rack flies off the tracks every time you pull it out. Extremely difficult to get it back on track when you have dishes loaded. Would never recommend this to anyone!!!

    It was quiet and great, until it wasn't ~2yr

    It was great for about 2 years, then starting having heating element issues and just now the circulator pump failed (a $700 fix) - which is most of the cost of the unit. Not to mention internally the "stainless steel" was having small rust spots and the plastic pieces holding everything together were consistently breaking. We won't buy another LG dishwasher.

    Not a good dishwasher

    We bought this dishwasher 2.5 months ago have needed LG repair three times because it’s leaking from the top left side of the door. The first time the repairman came out he said it was an installation issue. The second time, the exact same repairman said it was an installation issue (that he said he fixed on the first visit) plus the door wasn’t latching properly. He “fixed” that and now two days later we have to contact LG again for the exact same problem. Besides the leaking issue, the dishes and utensils on the top rack are never dry after a cycle. I do not recommend this dishwasher and I’m really regretting the purchase.

    Don't make our mistake!

    We purchased this dishwasher in Feb 2019. October of 2022 the impeller motor has broken and its $500 to fix. 3 years for over $1k is shameful. The service guy says LG are the worst and he has to fix them all the time. This specific failure is the most common. He said get a Bosch. That is what we are doing.

    1-star is a generous review. It's barely 4 years old, and I'm about to trash it. The control board died. The repair would be $500. The springs in the door have failed, and the display screen is dying, and those aren't included in the $500 repair cost. Not worth it to fix it. $1000 wasted.

    Spots and film on dishes

    I'm so disappointed on how my dishes turn out. Especially my glasses. I'm embarrassed when I have to get one out for company. They don't look clean. They have a film on them. I used 3 different rinse agents and different soap and still filmy dishes. I paid over $1200 with the 3 year warranty.

    I hate this dishwasher! It’s way louder than it claims I can’t hear the TV over it! One of the arms on third row is constantly falling off!

    Never Again

    We renovated our kitchen and bought all LG products. We reqret that decision. Luckily, we bought the warranties but 4 years later, the warranty has expired and so has the dishwasher!

    rail racks poor quality

    top rack rail disintegrated after 3 and a half years. each rail replacement costs $100. poor quantity. never had such issues with any dishwasher before. wish i hadn’t purchased.

    Worst Quality Dishwashers

    The top panel develops crack lines and the wire racks start to rust. Called LG thinking they would help me and they said they couldn't help me. Please whatever you do stay away from the LG dishwasher products or buy the best extended warranty you can.
