There is a built in fan that assists in drying that makes a very annoying high pitched sound loud enough to hear in my basement. Called Best Buy within my 30 days and was told would be a charge to check it out. Called LG and was told the same thing, not to be a pain but its a $750.00 dishwasher that was loud from the day it was installed. Will definitely reconsider LG next time buying a product.

Takes 3 hours per load and does not dry dishes thoroughly. My old dishwasher (Kenmore) did the job in one third the time and dried every thing, without an added drying agent.
