HORRIBLE rinsing action; leaves soap and water makes/calcium deposits- now can't even close soap dispenser. The button panel sits underneath counter when closed resulting in needing flashlight to see which button to push to turn on. Only plus: quiet as described. Want to return and get another name brand! Had GE and Samsung, which are far better than this crappy machine.

Poor product, even worse customer service

Both items defective. Refrigerator issue resolved after 4 months. Dishwasher started leaking at top of door 6 weeks normal use. Used LG authorized service center and after 3 visits the door gaskets were replaced, the lock latch replaced, and the unit then developed a leak code and would shut down. Then LG send their regional "expert." And the door liner was changed. And then the door started leaking from the bottom as well. On the experts 3rd visit, he noticed a crack in the door liner. Reports unit as unrepairable and requests refund/replacement. LG has determined that the unit was damaged due to installation. The unit was taken in and out for each and every service call by LG, total of 6. My guess is it was damaged by the service folks who were not too gentle with the dishwasher. So no dishwasher since 10/3/21. I continue to try and work with LG to resolve but their customer service communication is by far the most pitiful I have ever experienced. If you can afford KitchenAid, then go with them. I have a $1100 dishwasher sitting in my kitchen that was used for 6 weeks and had has had the power cut off since October becuase the alarm beeps continuously.

It was installed by Best Buy. Worked great for a month but now it has an Error code that renders it useless! LG’s answer is leave it unplugged for 48 hours. Well time is up and it’s still not working. Support service is not 24/7 so good luck trying to call as soon as you get out of work when everyone else who works is trying to call.
