With the recent delays in getting things shipped, the 10 days it took for it to arrive was somewhat understandable. What was not unacceptable or understandable, was the condition I found it in after delivery. This was a replacement for a 13 year old LG dishwasher that had given great service, but died. I therefore chose to replace it with another LG. Upon opening the dishwasher front door (after the delivery people departed) I discovered the the right edge of the door (just inside the edge of the seal) had been grossly dented. This would have been obvious to anyone looking at it. There were dent marks on the inside of the door on the left side also. The box it had come in had not shown any damage and the door frame of the dishwasher did not show any damage. This suggests to me that the damage occurred during manufacture or assembly of the dishwasher - and therefore this obvious damage was known and ignored when the machine was assembled and when any quality control inspection was conducted. I complained immediately and was told by your 1 800 number representative that my local store would have a replacement in the following Sunday. I returned the dishwasher the following Sunday, and found out that no replace was in and would be expected until early December 2021. I then purchased the same dishwasher from another seller who had one within three days. If you buy an LG I recommend that you examine the unit before accepting it. This is the first problem I've had with LG. Hopefully it is a fluke.

Other than leaving dishes wet, it worked well for couple of time (as we do not use it everyday) until today March 18th... it didn't clean the dishes and also left a very bad egg and chicken smell on the entire dishes in the cycle that had nothing to do with eggs or chicken.

Hard to hear tv at night time while on low volume with it running in the kitchen. Drying plastics is not happening, even with extra dry and night/fan mode enabled, but I assumed that would be the case with this model going into the purchase. Bottom Line - for the cost I expected more.

I would do better hand washing and laying out. I took a bowl out which was damp to touch days later. I replaced 20 year old GE for appearance not for function which thoroughly dried my dishes at end of cycle with no rinse agents.

Now the wash motor has gone bad. Avoid this garbage, do not buy it. It’s also not nearly as quiet as advertised. This will be the last LG product I ever buy.

It now needs major repairs or replacement. Both the motor and the pump have failed. I hope I can find a better brand next time. The lifespan of appliances are very frustrating.

Disappointed with the drying feature
