However it’s louder than expected and the door latch is a known problem. We had ours for about 3 weeks and now it won’t latch. So we get to wait 2 weeks for the warranty repair company to come out and fix it. Not good, my father in law had the same problem. They had to replace the motherboard in his. Extremely disappointed.

This dishwasher doesn't get the dishes very clean and the filter has already broken. There is also a white film on the inside that I can't get rid of, I've tried and tried. Not happy with this purchase.

Horrible dishwasher

Doesn't clean well - about 1/2 the time, there are still a reasonable amount of dirty dishes. The whole marketing ploy that you don't have to wipe down the dishes? Total and absolute crap. Even after wiping down every dish, glass, and piece of silverware, at best a full load ends up clean about 1/2 the time. The detergent tablet only drops out of the place for it about half the time, which means when that happens you have to re-wash the dishes - and given that about 1/2 of the times it does the dishes don't get clean anyway, this dishwasher does an overall crappy job. Also, the racks are poorly designed, and you have to jiggle them to get them to get all the way back....they stick at about 1/4" from fully retracted, which means that you can't close the door without lifting the entire top and bottom rack up a bit and wiggling it all the way back. Giving this dishwasher 0 stars would be an insult to all things that suck bad enough to be at 0 stars. There needs to be negative ratings for products that are this expensive that suck this bad.

The unnecessary beeping that some engineers thought was a good idea is not. The noise cannot be turned off. If the dishwasher runs when it ends it beeps to let everyone know as if you cannot see it has finished by the word end after the cycle. When the dishwasher runs at night after ending in If you like to hear unnecessary chimes/beeping when you select different systems (going from water to Ice and back) then enjoy this refrigerator. The unnecessary beeping that some engineers thought was a good idea is not. The noise cannot be turned off. If someone gets water and ice in the middle of the night everyone gets to hear it. the middle of the night everyone gets to hear it. Of course, LG does not allow the noise to be silenced.

I called Best Buy and they sent a technician out who determined that it was a defective unit. I am now in the process of exchanging it but I’m afraid to get the same unit. I was told Bosch is unavailable so I’m going to have to go with Thermadore. Much more than I want to spend but the trouble of a defective unit is too much. My other concern is that I’ve purchased this same LG dishwasher for another property, along with several Other lLG pieces, I haven’t had them installed yet, but I’m a bit concerned that I could get another defective product. I’ll just have to wait and see. The good news is that the installer was very helpful.

This is one God awful machine!

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this LG 24" dishwasher since Sept., 2020, and since that time it has worked correctly about 3, at most 4 times. All the other times, the dishes come out wet, sometimes less so, and sometimes more so. (And, yes, I always make sure the rinse aid dispenser is filled.) Sometimes almost every dish and utensil has dried water spots that I have to wipe away with a damp cloth. And finally, the machine seems to stop prematurely, before the entire cycle is over, whereby the electricity to the machine is shut off, so that the button on the electric box be reset before the dishwasher can be used again.

It broke 4 martini/ wineglasses and they would not fit. The dishes are wet when cycle complete and it takes 3 hours to run the normal cycle

Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned

That was a mistake. I’ve owned this unit less than 2 years and have already replaced the circulation motor and now the water inlet tank gasket is leaking. Two MAJOR component failures in 18-odd months! This is simply unacceptable. LG, to their credit, has offered to compensate me for the circulation pump under the 10 year parts warranty after I contacted their support team.

The next setting is 2 1/2 hours!!! And didn’t get everything clean. I have to use the heavy wash which is THREE ANS A HALF HOURS!!! I can hand wash in 15 minutes

Poor warranty

It is now a $1000 drying rack. When we called about service they said sorry warranty is only good for one year. We have all LG appliances and this is disappointing. Maybe we just got the lemon. Other than that it has worked ok however there are less expensive models that will work more than 1 year. Sometimes it is not the best at cleaning the middle rack.
