Does a good job of cleaning. Like the night dry feature. But this has to be the noisiest dishwasher I’ve ever owned. Our previous home had a Bosch and wish I would have bought another Bosch. That was a quiet dishwasher! Love the third rack. However, the middle rack won’t stay out when loading/unloading. Constantly rolls back in. Frustrating. Bottom line, cannot recommend.

have had it for 4 years now, really like it...my only complaint would be the longevity of the rack spikes...some are split and getting rusted out...otherwise I'm happy with it

This dishwasher is so Quiet. You can barely hear it running. It is great.

After having our last dishwasher fail after five years, we wanted something that would last a little longer. We read the reviews and decided this should be fairly reliable. Sadly, we were very mistaken. Since purchasing this dishwasher in January of 2020, we have had it serviced 4 times. Now, the motor we just replaced in July is failing again. The motor LG advertises a 10 year warranty on is never the one that needs replacing. We will never again recommend or purchase an LG appliance after this experience.

Had to replace the top control panel twice when under warranty. It cracked. Lasted about 3 years and the motor started whining. Going to replace it with a Bosch. Don't buy LG.

I have no complaints about this dishwasher. It cleans well. It also dries very well. Plastic will never dry completely, but compared to my old Whirlpool dishwasher where the plastic didn’t dry at all, my new LG does an exceptional job. It is also super quiet. Very pleased!

Don not buy this dishwasher. Within 2.5 years, the motor went out of this dishwasher resulting in the unit running very hot and very loud. Even though I have Total Tech coverage, we could not get the dishwasher serviced by Best Buy or LG and it was fully covered. We were moving and had to replace it immediately. I waited for over a month to have it serviced. Ended up tossing it out and installing a new dishwasher, not an LG!

Bought it in FEB 2021 and it was installed on July 2021 (COVID/Leadtime). It made a noise after a year (Drain Pump). On year 2, the unit was noisy as you can imagine. Since it was just noise, we use it at night rather than the day to avoid the noise. The pump went dead on Feb 2024; therefore it broked after 2.5 years. After research, I found that this model has a deffective drain pump that goes dead after 2-3 years. The drain pump cost $40 and the genuine version $105.

From day one, this think keeps shutting off mid cycle. It’s not often that it’ll get through a cycle start to finish without problems. Cleans well when it actually works. Don’t waste your money. Get a different brand or model. Walk past this one immediately.

This dishwasher was great for about 6 months then stopped cleaning things. I've had Best Buy Geek Squad out about 6 times over the course . Last time they were on the phone with LG tech support and were told "it's working fine". Well, apparently "fine" is it can't clean wet milk out of a toddler drink cup, or gravy out of the bottom of 4inch Tupperware. I have a video of it running with the door open and none of the spinners moving at all even though water is coming out. And it now makes a "thunk-thunk" sound at the start of a cycle even when the dishwasher is empty. Very much regret this purchase and will question any LG appliances in the future.

Within one year, after the warranty was up, started throwing error codes. Ran through troubleshooting options with no fixes. Then the error code went away by itself. After another couple of month a new error code appeared. I scheduled a repair with geek squad. No one showed up. I schedules AGAIN with geek squad and NO ONE SHOWED UP. With unexistant geek squad I decided to try to repair again independently. After calling local repair centers I found out many do not work with Samsung or LG machines because they are notoriously difficult to work with and not worth dealing with. So I was left to try to repair it at home. I went through the trouble shooting options and bought the part that was broken. Flipping this dishwasher upside down revealed a plastic shroud integrated into the entire body of the dishwasher that covered the entirety of the parts needing to be repaired. Looking around online the older models did not have this or had an easily removable shroud. I have no doubt this design is anti-consumer. After contorting myself, and replacing THREE different parts included in the error code I still am receiving the error code. So lets review Anti Consumer design CHECK Non-existant customer service CHECK Meaningless error codes CHECK 1-year life span CHECK I will never purchase another LG appliance after this experience, and Best Buy did nothing to help. Absolutely awful experience and a waste of money. I'd recommend avoiding anything to do with this company or product.

Stops intermittently, won't go into wifi pairing, control board freaks out 1 month out of warranty. top screen cracked.

Doesn't dry dishes as well as my old Kenmore but will do

Ive had geek squad come out to my house on 4 separate incidents of the dishwasher leaking. My floor is going to be damaged by the amount of puddles that continue to form. I was hoping geek squad would issue a replacement because i like the dishwasher and seem to have just gotten one that doesnt drain properly but best buy wont replace it so i guess this is normal for this dishwasher to continue to leak. So dont buy if you want your floors to remain dry!

My husband and I really wanted to buy a black stainless steel Bosch but with them on backorder we decided to try this dishwasher to match our other appliances. We tried it because it said it was 44 decibel, had moderate reviews and it was as expensive as a Bosch, so why not? Well let me save you time! It was almost as noisy as our prior dishwasher and you can hear the pump and some clicking noises throughout the cycle. We had a technician come out and he said those noises were normal for it. We returned it that night! He did test the decibel level and said at the highest it was 43 averaged but I didn’t believe that. The wash cycle was SO loud!! I didn’t spend that much money to have a louder and more noisy dishwasher! I’m just going to wait for my Bosch since we have our old working dishwasher that at least I can deal with in the meantime. So upset with this purchase!

I got this dishwasher just under 2 years. A few days ago I started hearing a funny groaning noise during the wash cycle. After getting this diagnosed I was told that the circulation pump has failed and the replacement cost will be around $450, almost half the price of a new machine. I am very disappointed by the quality of this dishwasher where it breaks down even before completing 2 years. The technician assured me that this was not caused by anything I did. I expected better quality from LG, especially considering that this is one of their higher end dishwashers

Lasted 2 years. Doesn’t work. 10yr warranty means nothing.
