So, let me preface this by saying that almost every single appliance in my home is LG. This is my second LG dishwasher purchase (the first was used in my ADU). I liked the first one the I bought so much that I discarded an old Bosch dishwasher that I had in my main house for this one because 1) it matched all my other appliances and 2) the performance and quality of the first LG dishwasher that I had bought about a year before this one was great! Unfortunately, I've been having nothing but trouble with this one. It is LOUD, it doesn't clean well, and it doesn't dry dishes completely (especially the second tray). I called LG service and they made me reset the machine and rebalance it but it didn't make a difference. I think they try everything they can to not send an actual person to trouble shoot. Thankfully of all the LG purchases that I have made over the years, none have given me issues. This was my first time dealing with LG service and WOW, was it a disappointment! Sign of the times I guess ... In summary, technically, yes, I recommend this dishwasher because the first one I bought was great. Just pray that you don't get a dysfunctional one like I did and need to rely on LG to make it right.

We had a dish washer finally die after 22 years. We picked this item because it was an open box. So far it has been a wonderful addition to the kitchen. It is super quiet and does a great job.

Overall good cleaning and very quite. However, it is difficult to read the indicator for Finish liquid

This is smaller than the one that came out but it doesn’t seem like it inside. It is so quiet you don’t even know it’s running. The install team were wonderful. We love our new dishwasher.

This is a really nice dishwasher, and the LG product designers clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making it easy to install and easy to maintain/repair.

So far, I am really liking this dishwasher. It's very quiet. I didn't give it 5 stars because it does still leave some food particles on the dishes, but I have found that to be the case with any dishwasher I have ever used.

We purchased this LG dishwasher to replace a GE that was defective. This LG does a great job at cleaning the dishes. I like that it has four cleaning arms compared to most that have two. It is very quiet. You can't even tell it is running. I'm glad we chose this one.

Nice dishwasher. Quiet and effective. Not too fond of the steam because the cycle doesn’t dry out the dishes in my experience.

Not what I was hoping for...My old cheapo GE dishwasher's electronics started to fail. I thought I was getting a nice upgrade with the LG. I'm not so sure about the upgrade other than the upgrade in price. Dishwasher is quiet and nice looking. Dishwasher does NOT dry well at all. So far, it does not clean as well as my other, cheaper machine did. I can can fit fewer dishes in the LG and we have to basically pre-wash dishes. I would not recommend this machine.

I love my dishwasher, plates come out clean and dry.

All dishes are totally spotless and I love the idea it steams them and also the knives, spoons, and forks can go in the very top rack.

The dishwasher is quiet. Took 4 attempts to get a working dishwasher installed. Still waiting on promised compensation!!

My new Cafe dishwasher is vert very quite and stylish I got a great "open box "price and I like it.

So far so good. We got this dishwasher as a replacement for a Samsung dishwasher that had to be repaired four times and Best Buy allowed a trade-in. It seems to be working fine.

This was a bit of a letdown. I would rate one star, but this is at least quieter than the old one. But my dishes are not clean after going through the cycle. There is also a layer of water that stays even after the dry cycle. My old dishwasher was able to get my dishes much dryer.

I like some of the features of the dishwasher including its quiet operation. I like the top silverware rack but there doesn’t seem to be enough space for my tall glasses to fit without bumping into the silverware rack. The other silverware rack takes up a lot of space in the bottom area.I would recommend this appliance to friends with these comments in mind.

Works great! Have owned this appliance for two weeks so far. Works like a champ. Love the third rack.

I really like the dishwasher and it cleans really well. The cycle times seem a bit long but never had a dishwasher with time display before. My only complaint is that the third rack isn’t very usable.

Overall this has been a disappointing purchase compared to the 15 year old Bosch we have in another home. While this dishwasher is extremely quiet, it does not clean dishes nearly as well as our older Bosch. Things like oatmeal "ring" that should be easily removed are still on the bowls at the end of the cycle, even after we separate the bowls completely in the racks, while the Bosch can pack them in tightly and still clean every spec of food off. The other complaint we have is the concept of the top (third rack) for things like utensils, knives, etc. At the time of purchase, that was a feature we thought we'd really like (our Bosch didn't have that). But when that rack is in (and it is easily removed), our regular height water glasses will not fit on the second rack designed for items like that, only shorter items like our coffee mugs will fit. And when we have used that third rack (over a full second rack), some of the items in the top rack looked as if they'd never been washed at all since it apparently does not receive any (or certainly enough) direct wash/rinse spray on its own. Overall, we would not buy this model again.
