New technology does not mean better. So I upgraded from my old GE dishwasher to this one. The wash cycles are much longer 2 hrs or more and does not do a good job washing. Plus drying doesn't work well. I have to keep my dishwasher open after a cycle to dry my dishes fullt

Stinks horribly and now won't even start. Waiting on repairman to come and fix it. Dishes are not dry and I am tired of rinsing them before I put in dishwasher and drying them when the cycle is done.

it stopped working within 2 weeks after we bought. Luckily Best Buy interfered and replaced the dishwasher with a new one. However, intermittent problems with the control panel continued for almost a year! now it stopped working completely a few weeks before the warranty expires.. we are dealing with LG customer service painfully. they can't talk proper English and very unresponsive -- hope to get this fixed before the warranty runs out. I would stay away from LG appliances altogether and Best Buy should stop selling them!

We had the LG Dishwasher installed on September 5, 2019. Stopped working on 4/18/2021. Paid $178 to a repair man to tell us that it will cost another $400+ to replace pump/motor. More than disappointed as this was a highly rated product. So after a year and a half of use we will need to replace why is this not under warranty? Now I question the other LG appliances we have, are they going to have issues with them as well.

This is the worst product I have ever bought. It pretty much immediately (within less than a year) stopped working and I had to wait two years for a repair. It has been two years since I bought it, and now it has completely stopped working. Plus, the inside has already started rusting! Terrible, terrible product.

Brought July 28, 2018, floor model had trouble starting from the beginning call LG Bestbuy no help at all when utterly dead today April 6, 2020, had to buy another dishwasher no an LG we just purchased a new LG washer and dryer from home depot. Paid 800.00.

Fortunately we bought the extended warranty because the main board went out days after the factory warranty expired. Now it’s taken five weeks to get service on it.

quiet, washes dishes great, adjustable shelves, led interior light, love top 3rd rack for silverware. Use finish rinse aid so we have no issues with dishes not being dry!

Well... this helped get our dishes clean for about 4 years but those 4 years were very turbulent. Not only did we have to get it replaced when it was still under warranty, but we had to call someone to fix it at least twice a year and it often wouldn't turn on for hours at a time for no identifiable reason. We finally caved and bought a new one (different brand!!) because this one would only turn on when the door was held at an angle. We really tried sticking it out for longer but it just didn't seem built to last and now we have a kid and can't hang around hoping the dish washer will turn on soon when we need to keep her bottles clean and ready.

1 1/2 years old and this machine needed the control panel replaced at the tune of $340.68 for the part and labor. (The control panel is not covered under the manufacturers warranty) Best part is , the repair guy said this is a popular problem with this dishwasher.

This dishwasher does a great job, and is really quiet! We were told by salespeople (not at Best Buy!) that the 3rd shelf was a waste, but we use it every load, and it's great. My complaint is that almost a year into ownership, we had a problem with the control panel that was apparently "common". It took nearly 4 months, MANY calls to LG and various "Authorized" service providers, 4 "proof of purchase" requests (2 from LG), and 3 service calls to get a replacement control panel installed, while the tech complained about how poorly LG treats service contractors and the resulting poor service. To be fair, the electronics on the replacement part are encased in silicone, so maybe the issue has been resolved with current parts.

This dishwasher does a fantastic job when it is working. I purchased the unit mid September. It stopped powering on at the beginning of December. The serviceman arrived within a couple of days and repaired the unit in a day or so after that. I am happy. It is now the beginning of February and the machine is again not powering on. It stopped working Monday, called early Tuesday morning, and I won't get a serviceperson out till Friday. Parts will have to be ordered which means I will not have a working dishwasher till next week. The unit is 4.5 months old and has broken down twice already. I spent what for me was a very large sum of money for a dishwasher because I wanted something that worked well and was reliable. My research showed that they were second behind Bosch for reliability and the layout on the machine is great. I love the machine when it works, but now I wish I had bought the bosch. I have no confidence in the machine any longer, and feel saddled with a $1,000.00 hand washing dish rack that won't drain.

Don't waste your time w/ this dishwasher! After several months, the dishwasher quit working. I was told I needed a new circuit board, but guess what? They are backordered!! Apparently, the circuit board is a common problem w/ this model. It is now going on 1 month and I still don't have the part I need. Now, I get to wash all my dishes by hand!! Do yourself a favor, go buy a cheaper dishwasher because this just doesn't have the quality you are paying for.

There is absolutely no way this is 44 dB! Our old dishwasher (kitchen aid) was 48 and it was soooooo much quieter!! I am so disappointed with this purchase. Not sure how other reviewers claim to "not even know it's on". I feel like I have a car wash in my kitchen. I need to turn the volume up on the TV in order to hear it over the dishwasher. If you're thinking if buying this one b/c of the noise rating, 2 words of solid advice: keep looking!

I writing this after 4 years of use. Worked great for around 3 years. Then the control panel cracked. Now at 4 years the control panel has several cracks the the main drive is making an irritating noise and the dish rack is starting to rust.

Didn't last a year until the electronics died. We had our Bosch for 17 years. It still ran great but the racks were rusting. This LG has been the most disappointing purchase. I would not recommend this model or this brand. I thought at this price it would last a decade. So sad they cannot make a product that lasts a year.

Best Buy says this is fingerprint resistant...not true

We bought all black stainless steel appliances at once were so excited after a month or so we had have the dishwasher repaired. Which took forever. Then a little after a year the dishwasher totally broke, right after full warranty. They have a 5 year warranty that seemingly covers anything major but the part we need is $500 and not only will they not cover it we cant even find a repairman that can order it, it's like they quit making the part. We have tried everything. And now the black "stainless " is chipping in places especially on our refrigerator. We can't get an answer from anvone. I strongly suggest not buying this or any other black stainless from them

This is a huge piece of crap, we got a lemon keeps shutting down. This is a horrible machine stay away. Truly regret buying LG anything, LG support sucks as well.
