I put a lot of hard work checking out dishwashers. opening doors, pulling out shelves, checking out control panels. pulling out drawers, pulling out drawers, pulling out drawers. get the hint. I can't stand the wobbly, shaky, flimsy kind when the drawer doesn't "glide" out easily. LG won as far as feeling durable. my kitchen hasn't been finished yet, so I don't know how it runs. as with anything new, I'll find out soon enough; but having other LG products, I'm sure it'll be great!

this dishwasher runs very quietly.I like having three racks.the one drawback is that it doesn't dry the dishes.

If I could give this dishwasher a negative rating, it would receive it. After rave reviews by the Bestbuy salesperson, went ahead with this model and brand. After installation, it wouldn't work. Thought my tech savviness was the issue. Not the case. Motherboard not functioning. Bestbuy is not allowed to support, have to go through LG. LG doesn't locally support their own product, has another local group taking the heat for a lemon. Have been able to run two loads through this dishwasher. Control panel is not intuitive, hard to reach if installed under a countertop, and gives you 4 seconds to get on with your wash after selecting the cycle. Seriously. Interior has 3 racks; top intended for silverware. Poor quality washing job on knives. Adjustable top rack not so great; managed to break a wine glass trying to fit it in with the third shelf above. Now waiting for the repair person the second time around. First time took over a week for parts to arrive and have them installed. Have to wait a week for the local group to do the initial diagnosis. And then another part wait most likely. LG not standing behind their product was very disappointing. Lesson learned, a smart dishwasher may be intelligent but not able to wash dishes...

I was in need of a new dishwasher as my old one took multiple washes to clean my plates. After reading a lot of reviews, the salesperson sold me on this machine and I was pleased with all the added features. However, after a couple of uses I wasn’t too thrilled. I don’t use a lot of dishes and hate dirty dishes being in the sink, so I typically load as I go but what I realized after a couple of days of dirty dishes in the machine there was mold growing all over my silverware and plates. It was disgusting. I called LG and they claimed I needed to use a drying agent (Jetdry, etc.) so I did and it’s gotten a little better but I’ve learned to do multiple washes a week and to leave the dishes in the sink until I’m ready to wash them. I probably wouldn’t buy this unit again.

We had shopped around for dishwasher but liked the quality and especially the warranty that came from LG. I installed the machine myself with no issues and it works like a charm. So quiet you barely know it’s running. I would purchase this again.

We purchased this dishwasher in our last home and really liked it. Gets everything sparkling clean and dry. When we moved we did not like the dishwasher that came with the place so we promptly purchased this same model!

Unit failed 18 months after purchase...No power to Control Panel on top of door unit. Research shows this is a known, frequent problem. If main board is issue, you have to have a "certified" LG tech tell you that it needs replacing, otherwise you can't get the free, warranted replacement. There is a slew of people on LG community forums complaining about this series dishwasher and the "no power" problem. If you aren't experiencing it, great, but there are enough reported issues that LG should recall this unit; I would stay away from this dishwasher, and I typically have no issues LG products.

So quiet you would even know it’s running. Quicker washing cycle than my old one. It has an option for night drying so a fan will run to keep the dishes dry while closed overnight. I’d take half a point off because the buttons are over sensitive. It takes me a few tries to switch it on. Also because of the top drawer, the upper shelf has some limitations on when you can put tall glasses and bottles without compromising the plates below.

The sales associate was no pressure and quickly directed me to what we wanted. The installer was great. Professional and knew what he was doing. Took his time to make sure everything was just right. Dishwasher works great!

As others have referenced, we've had this dishwasher two years and the control panel has become inoperable. On hold with Geek Squad right now for a service appointment. There's another rando failure in this dishwasher - a little catch pan under the dishwasher that with the slightest moisture will stop it completely. That I fixed myself when Best Buy wouldn't send a tech due to Corona virus (which is totally fine.) But that repair requires pulling the dishwasher out to get to the dumb catch try to dry out any standing water (which we had like 1/8" of an inch. doesn't appear anything failed, I guess just drips?) It doesn't seem like it should be that hard to build a reliable $800 dishwasher.

I bought an open box one at the store. At the store I couldn't pull out the 3rd rack and didn't want to break it but forgot until it was delivered to my house. I installed myself and the 3rd rack falls off when I pull it out so I just stuck in cabinet and don't use. I forgot to buy warranty so they won't fix it. Also while I use extra dry it still doesn't dry plastic bowls on second shelf.

This dishwasher is wonderful! It has so many great features. The racks inside adjust to allow different configurations adding flexibility in what you can load. Best of all it is so quiet! I hadn’t know it’s running.

I absolutely love my dishwasher! This thing gets the job done! I tested it out by putting dishes in that I didn’t pre soak and scrub and they came out shining. This was definitely a good for us...you won’t regret making this purchase.

I like the way it cleans. Does not hold as many sizes of dishes as my previous dishwashes

I have no complaints. This is a well built washer and performance meets my expectations. Others in this price range have components that seem flimsy but not this model. I have 4 LG appliances and have no issues with any of them.

This is a great dishwasher! It is so quiet, that I keep checking it to make sure it is running. Great design-pegs that move so you can fit unusual sized items, third drawer at top for flat items...great use of space.

I have not used my dishwasher yet my renovation is not complete but I did a lot of research and the low decibel rating was very important to me because of my open concept living space. Looking forward to using it very soon.

Has many cycles to chose from. Even on the express cycle, dishes are still clean and rarely do any have spots. All of my friends and family complain about their dishwashers not cleaning well but I LOVE MINE!!

Very pretty and exactly what I was looking for to complete my kitchen

The app is not that great for being an LG. It dries dishes well if you use the rinse aid.
