This refrigerator works wonderfully! Very spacious and we got it on sale!

I just love how roomy it is and how easy it is to clean

Our refrigerator went out and needed another ASAP. We purchased this one “open box”. It has been great so far. The only complaint I have is that when the ice maker spits out the ice it is pretty loud when the water refills.

I bought this to replace my 12 year old LG 25 cubic foot refrigerator freezer, which had a dead compressor. Unfortunately, they didn't have one in stock to look at before it arrived - big mistake! Despite being the same capacity as the old one, this LG lacked many of the standard features of the old one - butter bin with closing lid, door racks in the freezer, slide out glass shelves, etc. The vegetable bins were also downgraded - 2 instead of 3, and no temp adjust for the lower bin. They changed the dimensions as well, making it slightly taller, slightly deeper, and much narrower. And the refrigerator was slightly taller in real life than the listed dimensions, even with the adjustments as low as they would go. I had to have a cabinet maker come in and shave a tiny bit off the upper cabinets so it would slide in place, and because of the extra depth, it protrudes a bit more than the old one. Delivery was on time and carefully done. Being familiar with the LG ice cube connection lines from the old one, I declined Best Buy installation, and had my contractor do the work (Just as well, like the last LG, this one was VERY finicky about connection to the filtered water line, prone to very slow drips unless done perfectly). I can live with the above, but the energy use is a real issue! Not having seen the unit before it arrived at my house meant I hadn't seen the estimated electricity usage yellow sheet. I assumed that the new Energy Star refrigerator would reflect 12 years of progress since the old Energy Star LG, and that it would be at least as efficient as the old one. WRONG! The Energy star sheet on this refrigerator estimates over 50% more energy use than the old one, which was the same capacity as this one. With the highest electricity rates in the country in our area, this is not a trivial issue. Supposedly with global warming concerns, one would expect a refrigerator to be more efficient than older technology - especially since no new power plants are being constructed and everyone is rushing to purchase electric vehicles, further adding to the demand for electricity. So, I can't really recommend this downgraded, de-contented, less efficient refrigerator/freezer.

Great fridge, very spacious, a little bulky but not an issue

Excellent deal on a great refrigerator that could only have been done through Best Buy! We have been thoroughly pleased with the purchase of our new LG refrigerator.
