    Ice & water dispenser failed after 19 months

    Also, the interior light in this fridge is poorly designed. There is a single light at the top near the front. Once you put things on the top shelf, the lighting is blocked and it's hard to see the items on the lower shelves. Overall not a great design and the parts fail way too soon.

    Water is horrible. LG has sent someone multiple times and they had me purchase new connectors.. nothing works. Water tastes horrible and so does the ice.

    Only issue so far is motor makes noise and you have to keep adjusting the level of the fridge to stop the noise

    Noisy after the a couple of months.

    I barely have the refrigerator for about 9 months now and its already making loud noises. It sounds like the motor is going to burn out soon. I still need to call the company for the warranty to see if they can come out and fix the problem. It is beautiful, inside and out but the silence lasted very little.

    In door ice machine jams pretty often . Easy enough to clear it but should have been designed better. Left side of bottom draw in fridge freezes stuff

    I was disappointed. I scratched low on the freezer and was looking for a touch up paint. I really didn't get much help from the person I spoke to. If someone could tell me where i might get a little bit of touch up paint i would appreciate it. I am very, very happ with my new refrigerator.

    Not Making Ice

    One week after install, water would leak from the dispenser when closing the freezer door, and now the ice maker is not working. Waiting on warranty work from LG. I don't recommend based on my experience.

    Lg support is very poor. Had fridge less than 6 months and door broke. Not covered because its a wear item. I would advise never buy LG again. Best buy is just as bad with total tech membership. As they told me they cant work on LG. Very horrible all around

    I love my fridge so far, but the product page lists this feature: "LG SmartThinQ App compatible Use the app to remotely check on the contents of your refrigerator, including what's in the door anytime, anywhere." That feature is missing from the refrigerator.

    This refrigerator is really nice and has a lot of good features, but it's so loud, it literally sounds like it's going to orbit out of my kitchen. Not sure why it's so loud.

    Had it serviced one week after installed. The third party repair service team had difficulty scheduling the repair for leaky filter. The repair man said the filter and casing holding the filter is faulty and needs a new casing and filter.

    Was so hopeful with this one, but unfortunately no such luck. Only after 17 day after purchase the fridge developed a loud hum coming from the back of the fridge and it turns out that there is something wrong with LG’s cyclone air circulator motor. I called Best Buy and got the “so sad, should have bought the geek Squad protection”. “You need to call LG” I had missed the return window by only 2 days. So to say at the very least I’m not happy. Could this be a freak thing?...yes of course, but when you spend this kind of money you hope at least you can go some time with out any issues.’mmm

    Don't buy this refrigerator. It has had a bad water value and the fan freezes up for the last year. We have had this 15 months. LG's customer service is horrible too. I thought I was buying a quality product. That was not the case. Never buying an LG again.

    Worked well for less than 2 years. LG does not have a service team in the area. They are not helpful or responsive. Fan motor malfunctioned per code. Very sad when you finally find someone to service it and they tell you to replace it with something other than LG. Microwave is another issue as board is gone,, again no help.
