    Every 2.5 months I have to empty and defrost my refrigerator. I have only had this for 9 months. LG will not send out a technician, saying that the build up is because I am keeping the freezer open too long. We are 2 adults in the house and barely ever open the freezer. I am 50 years old and have NEVER had this problem with a refrigerator. It is very disappointing. I am going to have to replace it and I will never buy an LG product again.

    Faulty from day 2

    From day 2 got this dF H alarm every 24 hrs which disables water/ice dispensing, only hard reset clears the alarm. Geek Squad (really fantastic professionals btw) did the recommended troubleshooting, nada, major repair is needed. Not much to say about LG's QA/QC for a 2k fridge, another customer taking his business somewhere else.

    Broke twice in 4 years - service is awful

    Thr fridge broke twice in 4 years. The warranty covered it, but the service network is terrible. The first time it took over a week. The second time, it took close to two weeks. They pawn the service off to local companies, who then do not feel bad about missing appointments or confirming times. 7 phone calls in 7 days after two missed windows. No one at LG owned it...terrible.

    Do not recommend

    Our refrigerator broke down after 5 months LG couldn’t get a service tech out to look at it for a month then he came and looked at it and said he had to order the part and it would be another 3 weeks and he said it was common for parts to go out on LG’s unfortunately we bought the the whole appliance package. Refrigerator, dishwasher, range and microwave. It’ll be the last LG I buy.

    LG FRENCH DOOR MODEL LFXS26973S /00

    This refrigerator was delivered defective. The crisper tray don't close all the way there's a big gap between it and the shelf above it, same thing with a deli tray. Which means you have to cover up everything now in the deli tray but you're not supposed to have to, and my veggies won't stay crisp because nothing to stop the humidity fro0m getting in. IM AM SOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

    Shoddy product, worse support.

    Buyer beware. Shoddy product, worse support. Wire in the door, that is not accessible broke, causing the water and ice to no longer dispense. Definitely a manufacturing issue. Called LG support. They had no interest in supporting their product. They wanted me to buy a whole door in order to fix their product. One wire breaks and they want you buy a whole door to repair the issue.

    A four year old LG refrigerator and it die on us. No one in the Madison area to fix it or even look at it. Contact Best Buy and they say it may be a week or two before they could find anyone. Now that is service. Why would you sell a product that you can not get service?

    - seal will break within 5 yrs - will have no cooling event - they have class action lawsuit against them for this issue - horrible customer service - repair cannot be scheduled b/c they're all booked Run you fools! --- Gandalf the gray, at the sight of an LG fridge

    stay far away less than three months old three service calls also Best buy is no help!!!! As of now fridge is not working the earliest LG can service is 5 days away!!!!!!!!
