    Excellent Refrigerator

Since I've bought this refrigerator it has done very well. So far I've had it for about a month. It has the same dimensions on the outside as my old refrigerator, but actually seems to hold more stuff on the inside. The ice maker and water work well. It's much quieter than our old refrigerator. The first few days I checked the ice maker bin to see if it was really making ice since I didn't hear anything and there has always been ice in ice maker bin ready to use. The only issue I can complain of, and this is minor issue, is I need to hold my cup close to the ice dispenser when the ice comes out or the ice might land on the floor. This was a minor adjustment for me for an otherwise excellent refrigerator.

Nice black stainless design. The dual ice maker works great and produces plenty of ice. It’s a slightly smaller capacity refrigerator than the GE model I replaced but has more room inside. The unit is even more quiet than the GE. The front panel controls are intuitive and easy to use. The only unknown is the cost of water filters for this item. So long as they are not ridiculously priced it will be a 5 star purchase.

    LG Dual Ice Maker Refrigerator

I am a fan of LG products. I had an older model of the same refrigerator, same style, slim ice maker inside the door and to be honest, I really liked the old one better. My compressor went out after 12 years. This new one is an upgrade, but the con is the left door is much heavier to open and it will slam if you don't hold it to close it. It is due to the ice maker inside of the door being heavier. I like the bright LED lighting inside. The door key panel on the old one was a black touch screen display which displayed the temperature inside the room and other features. This one is a stainless steel panel. I must say this one is very quiet, but you can hear the ice dropping inside of the bottom freezer tray since it has a dual ice maker. One good thing is the 10 year compressor warranty, hopefully this one will last longer than 12 years. Overall, it seems to be good so far. I would recommend.

I love this fridge. I've owned one other French Door model from another company and this one is by far superior! The door with the ice maker in it is heavy and will slam shut if you just let it go, but that's easy enough to get used to and so worth freeing up space inside. I love that there are two ice makers - the one we use most in the door to fill cups, but then I love having the bin in the freezer for coolers and such. The drawers pull out and function as they should (my last fridge had a major issue with that), and there is tons of space in the doors for condiments or whatever you like to keep easy to get to. I'm very happy with this purchase.

LG makes a great product! The finish is spot on and matches all the other LG products. We never run out of ice and the shelving is perfect. It seems like we have twice the room if our last refrigerator.

Had this fridge about a month now. Nice and big inside and plenty of room both on top and on the bottom. Much quieter than my old whirlpool that was just 5 years old which I moved downstairs. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the ice maker seal had an issue after we used crushed ice and water was dripping from the area. I ran my finger around the seal and have not had any more issues. But I continue to keep an eye on it. The fridge looks great and no more fingerprints. However, this is real stainless steel on the front, so no magnets will stick to it. I would recommend the unit and got a great labor day price on it. Lastly, the filter for water is in the top left inside and easy to replace.

This was my very first fridge I have ever bought on my own. This was one of the best purchases I have ever made. The model I have is currently the brushed stainless steel. It is very spacious at the top and has a big freezer compartment. I like that it has two ice makes, one in the lower bin and then the space saving behind the left door. Filter is very easy to change and switch. Controls on the front are very simple to read and are big. I really have no concerns about this product, it’s been very stable. I mostly enjoy the warranty factory standard for 5 years on the fridge itself. The compressor has a 10 year factory warranty which leaves for piece of mind. If you are in the market for a fridge, I do highly recommend this fridge. Pretty affordable I think compared to other French doors and of this cubic space. Definitely worth looking at floor model first before purchasing so you have an idea of what it is all about.

We looked at several refrigerators and found this one to be the best fit for our family because it met all of the following: 1) French door style; 2) capacity, though a bit large for us; 3) black stainless steel finish that doesn't leave fingerprints; 4) the ice maker in the freezer makes a lot of ice; 5) adjustable shelves on both sides of the refrigerator and not just on one side; 5) water filter for the drinking water; 6) reasonably priced considering all of the features

the fridge is excellent. laid out well and is very quiet...now. the company that best buy employs that delivered this, not so much. while i like best buy, i doubt i will be purchasing major appliences feom them any longer. first fridge showed up damaged, they crushed my copper line forcing me to purchase another water line, then the guy didnt even hook it up correctly which caused a water leak in my finished basement. best buy was less than helpful with this forcing me to make multiple phone calls. then when they delivered the new fridge, i got a guilt teip from the “owner” how if i complained best buy wouldnt pay him. they installed the new fridge and left. a month later the fridge started making this loud noise. i dint want to call best buy and get the run around again, so i decided to call LG directly. LG customer service was awesome. turns out, when they installed the second fridge they didnt level it properly and the doors werent closing properly forcing moisture into the fridge which was turning into ice. so i re leveled it and 73 hours later quiet as a mouse. pros: fridge laid out well. is very quiet. price was decent. LG customer service is excellent. extra ice maker is very welcomed. cons: first fridge was damaged. delivery company caused water damage to my house. delivery company did not install/level the fridge properly. delivery company was unproffessional.

Owned 4 refrigerator/freezers over 30 years. Lots of space, more than the others. Has two ice makers. Has a water filter. It just plain good! If one had to complain at all, the front left door with the icemaker is a bit heavy when filled with ice and will slam closed and surprise you. It takes getting use to not just letting it go to close.

Only had it a month but I’m really enjoying it. The second ice maker is a must have if getting an LG. It’s super quiet. I’m hoping this linear compressor lasts longer than the previous model. That one lasted 3 1/2 years. I did try an American made refrigerator but after replacing two of them in less than a month I decided to go back to LG.

Very nice fridge. Lots of room inside to keep all the groceries fresh. I like the door storage, very spacious. Two gallons of milk can fit in one of the shelves. Quiet operation. Really like the color, very sleek & fingerprints are barely noticeable. I can usually wipe it clean with a soft cloth. The only thing I miss is a butter keeper, but I use a covered butter dish so problem solved. Overall I am very pleased!

Pros: Refrigerator looks amazing, no fingerprints, quiet and plenty of space inside Cons: Plastic inside feels somewhat cheap and control panel does not light up when pressed so you never know when ice/water/crushed is selected without lights on in kitchen and light shining directly on panel (because words are in black and blend in with the fridge)

Overall, this fridge is fantastic. Plenty of room for storage, very attractive in the black stainless, ice makers work very well. The only thing I do not like about it, is the left door where the ice maker/water dispenser are. This is also where the condiments go, therefore making the door very heavy. I think there should be some sort of compensation for this weight so it doesn't feel like I am slamming it every time it closes. Other than that, great fridge and highly recommend!

This is a nice size refrigerator with plenty of storage options. It is nice to have dual ice makers as the ice maker in the door isn't sufficient for heavy use during a large gathering. Setup was easy and the controls are easily accessible to make changes. So far, this fridge is truly fingerprint resistant so it's nice to not have to clean it daily.

I love having 2 ice machines so i can fill ice packs and coolers!! Having the ice machine built in to the door allows for more space in the fridge itself but also makes the door heavier so when it shuts it is hard and loud. Something to get used to..hold the door when it closes. The bottom freezer drawers open all the way instead of most that only come out a tiny bit making u grab stuff from the sides. I do wish the shelves inside were more adjustable.

We've had this fridge for a little over 7 months and are very happy with it. The french doors are perfect for keeping larger items and we love that the shelves can be adjusted as needed. The door shelves also keep a good number of items as well to save on space inside. The doors are light so you do have to make sure to shut it, but the alarm is a perfect reminder if you forgot to use enough force. We love the dual ice makers when we have a guests coming over or need to pack a cooler with ice and we haven't had any issues with the ice makers being too loud. The freezer is also still very roomy even with the ice tray. The front of the fridge is not magnetic, so that is something to note if that is important to you. We've recently replaced the air and water filters and both were a relatively easy process and the fridge reminds you to do it. Overall, we are really happy with this fridge!

Purchased to replace a 12 yr old Amana french door unit. The dual ice makers was the deciding factor for us. We always ran out of ice with a family of 5. Unit is quieter than previous fridges. Inside capacity is good. The water/ice dispenser takes a little to get used to the first touch just turns it on from sleep mode. The only thing missing is an exterior light on dispenser when not in use. Overall after a month we have no complaints.

Have only had the fridge for two weeks and it’s great so far. Best Buy had the shortest delivery schedule and matched a competitor’s price. We liked the dual ice makers and the solid, rather than wire mesh, drawers in the freezer. Also like the open door reminder as it will chime if the kids leave the door slightly ajar. Was concerned about hearing of compressor issues from LG, however BB sales team indicated LG had switched compressor manufacturers for 2019. Hopeful for years of quality operation from the fridge.

We are currently waiting for our replacement fridge to arrive. I don't want to give the fridge too low of a rating as I suspect we were just unlucky. Shortly after the installers left, an error message (CF E) popped up on the display. We called Best Buy immediately. They have been wonderful all the way through our process of updating old appliances. We were told they would take care of us. They are supplying a temporary fridge to use while we wait for the new one to arrive. We bought this LG because of the low decibel rating. In the very short time of its operation, it was very quiet. The fridge itself is elegant and large. We like the extra space given by the small door with shelves (that hide the ice maker). We are hoping for the best when the new one arrives.
