You Can't Beat It

I knew that waiting would pay off because all the appliance stores finally sold old stock and this new LG now has a stainless that doesn't smudge. Can you get an occasional mark? Sure, but this is a marked improvement over stainless from yesteryear. I have always been happy with the LG because of its reliability, not too mention, it is whisper quiet. I got this at a presidents day sale and additionally price matched to a brick & mortar competitor. I hated my old side by side because literally, everything would get lost. The added 2nd ice maker is yet another bonus. I use the Wi-Fi but that's more gimmicky than anything else. I have nothing but good things to say. I did get the max geek squad protection for peace of mind but if this LG is like my other one, I don't see much of a need. I would highly recommend this to anyone with at least 4 people in their family. You won't believe the room you have because of the ice in the door versus virtually all other brands taking up precious shelf space. This fridge is user friendly. Don't save a few bucks and get a noisy less expensive make & model. Find the cash and get this one. BTW, the crew was nothing less than super professional on the delivery & install. Props to Geek Squad and Best Buy!!!! 5 star

NEVER BUY a LG Refrigerator!

The ice and water tastes worse that the tap water coming into it and there is a white powder that is in the water and ice systems that won't clear. I have 3 friends who bought the same item with the same results. The repair man, who has been here 3X and can't fix it says he's seeing many of the same defect. FORGET LG WARRANTY repair as they don't pay their vendors so they refuse to do the work!
