Lots of space, cools quickly the biggest problem is the ice maker. enough for a family of 4 but not 6. It produces ice rather slowly.

The compressor died after 2 years. Compressor has 10 years warranty. LG said they will send a new compressor to me but the cost to replace almost $1000. Wasted! Never buy any product from LG. Not recommend!

Failed after 5 and 1/2 years. I had GeekSquad warranty for 5 years. Compressor warranty for 10 years. Since this is covered under LG Class action lawsuit, LG will replace the compressor including the repair cost.

It's easy to setup. The delivery team plugged it in, connected the water line and installed the water filter. It was ready for use as soon as the unit was wiped down. The gallon shelves are very sturdy and don't jiggle like the Samsung's do. The glass shelves inside are easy to pull out and look elegant. The fridge is quiet at all times. The only noise I hear if when ice drops into the container. One surprise is that the wire comes out off the top of the fridge which requires me to cut a small notch in the cabinet in order to slide the fridge back. The sales person highly suggested the purchase of a stainless steel water hose kit for $29.99. The installer explained that was not necessary because 1) my plastic waterline was brand new; 2) the stainless steel line is only 6' long and wouldn't connect to the basement shutoff. He said the stainless steel line is for those who have a shutoff behind the fridge and that I would be refunded for the $29.99.

The product worked well the first few months of use. Afterwards though, the compressor broke but the support team for LG was quick to fix it and it was replaced. Then about 8~ months later, the defroster stopped work, causing my fridge to be unable to cool down items since it's stopped cooling since it's trying to defrost but can't. This part broke down three separate times after this. I can't believe they had the audacity to try to charge me for the repairs for this product that should last 10 years with maybe a problem in between, not break down 4 times in 2.5 years. I'm stuck paying for the repairs now or get a brand new fridge that I shouldn't have to since it shouldn't break like this.

I love this fridge, everything from how clean it looks inside and out, size, and easy to use. Love the keypad features and settings. Great big fridge for the price. Adds extra storage with the in door ice maker.

Apparently LGs are known to have issues with the compressor. Mine gave out one year into using this fridge. Luckily still under warranty and LG replaced for free. However, the new compressor then lasted just 5 years. LG wants $650 to replace the compressor. I'd rather just invest that into a new fridge NOT from LG.

I bought this refrigerator because my parents had last year's model and love it. You can only put water jugs in the door and it isn't user friendly. It was ended up broken since day one and I ended up having to pick out another refrigerator. Only reason I recommending you want the room and I liked the ice in the door

this refrig lasted 6 years before the compressor went out. The parts were under warranty but labor was not. To replace a compressor in an LG unit I was quoted by 2 appliance repair services $1000-$1200. Also, after researching there are hundreds of complaints on LG refrig compressors, there was even a class action suit filed so buyer beware, this is a known issue by LG and all they offered me was to send the new compressor or 10% off a new model. I would not buy another LG.

I will NEVER purchase an LG again! Wouldn't even give it 1-star rating. We bought this refrigerator mainly because of the 10-Year Warranty on the compressor. We have had this refrigerator for 2 yrs and 3 mos and the compressor went out! LG will replace the compressor but we are responsible for the $450 labor charge. We had to wait 3 days for an LG repair person to even look at the refrigerator and another 5 days for the part to be available. The repair person could not guarantee that we wouldn't have to replace the compressor in a few more years. NOT WORTH IT! We're buying another brand and out more than $1,500 on this piece of junk!

We have owned this refrigerator for 3 years and it just died on us this summer. We are currently in the middle of a terrible repair cycle. LG did open a warranty claim for us and get us in touch with a repairman. He has been out 3 times over the course of the last 3 and a half weeks and we still are without a working fridge. Each time a new visit is required, they can't fit us in until 5 days out. Each time a new part has to be ordered, we are waiting for that to come in, and then will be waiting for the repair company to "fit us in." I have 3 kids in the middle of summer trying to keep all our milk and cheese cold in a mini fridge and coolers. LG is less than helpful, only saying that they will reimburse us for a mini fridge purchase, or a short term rental. They claim that only the repair company can request replacement. And why would they do that, when they can make as many service calls as they want and get paid by LG for them?!? How does a short term rental help me with the cost of all the lost food, inconvenience, and cost of extra takeout meals we are stuck relying on?!? So unless you just love the idea of filling your home with coolers and mini fridges, I would avoid purchasing this, or any other LG refrigerator.

I loved everything about this refrigerator but then after 3 yrs 8 mos, the compressor failed. Called a service company and when they heard it was an LG not cooling, they said call LG. LG said it would be a wk at least (we were using ice chests at this point). I had already researched LG authorized repairmen and they had 1-2 star ratings. I had called another company that could be out in 3 days. They came & said that 75% of their calls are for LG refrigerators. Recommended Maytag or Whirlpool with single cooling system.

Bought in 2015, compressor down Aug 2016,hassel of staying home 3 times for LG technician and losing pay from work, now today again freezer side of fridge stop working, has to throw away all meat and dairy product and Now I am going to loose some more pay-check waiting for the geek-squad technician, I don't know how many times. Please do not buy this product.

After 2 years it stopped making ice. Discovered the water was freezing before it got to the ice maker. The freezer was out of warranty but I expected LG to assist as this was not mechanical but a production or design issue. I was told that they would do nothing as it wasn't their issue once the warranty had expired. How can that be when the issue is a design or manufacturing flaw? I now have an expensive fridge sat in the garage and had to buy a new appliance. Thanks LG! I do not recommend this appliance or this brand.

Fridge Failed at 5 years and 3 months. The "10 year" warranty on this is an absolute joke. I have called LG 6 times in the last 5 weeks because they never call back and STILL no scheduled appointment to fix. I have been told to expect a call from a manager or escalation team 3 times now with NO call. Do not buy LG products, they will fail super early and never fulfil the warranty promise!

I liked this fridge, the design, the water dispenser (although quirky). Between 5th and 6th year without warning it just decided it wanted to stop cooling and leaked water all over the kitchen floor. Now having to replace it. It’s not worth repairing to me because I’m out of a fridge for many days and the repair still costs around $1000 even with parts under warranty. The main cost of the repair is labor. So really disappointed with LG. Even if I purchased extended warranty of 5 years I would still be uncovered. Worthless, don’t recommend.

This Fridge is still doing wonders, I love it. Awesome!

The first is nice, good fit and finish for the drawers. The ice maker freezes up and stopped working quickly, the water dispenser is also not intuitive and lots of people end up spilling water when they visit and are new to the fridge.

Less than 5 years later the refrigerator stopped working. Waiting one week for Geek Squad to come fix it. I should have kept my almost 30 year old Kenmore. It was still chugging along. New appliances are expensive and don't last. Won't buy an LG every again

Luckly i got 5 year warranty. LG and Samsung has been in Fridge making business for 6-8 years. The Linear compressor has a bad track record..lasting just 2 years max. Should have got GE brand with older compressor technology. Newer ones are energy efficient, but just dont last like old refrigerators..i am taking 20-30 years.
