Think of the sounds your grandma's 40 year old fridge made. Ridicoulous for an appliance this expensive. Ice maker is a joke. Takes two days to fill up the relatively small tray. Nice design and layout. Would still not recommend because way too loud.

Bad door hinge, and door shelves are not strong.

(A) Despite their color photos in the adds showing gallons of milk in the door shelves, three of our door shelves have cracked with much lighter loads. (B) The cheap plastic part in the bottom of the hinge in the right-hand door has broken, so the door doesn't stay closed. I am still working with LG to have this repaired under warranty. (C) during the hot summer, the ice maker can barely keep up with just two of us having iced drinks.

We loved everything about this frig but it would not cool below 40 despite a setting of 33. LG customer service ran the remote diagnostics and found nothing amiss. Had me run through several humorous tests, running magnets along the top frame, slamming the freezer drawers, staggering the shelves. Had me set the freezer at -6. The freezer was not the problem. Sent a text link for a service call. We called BB and they set up an exchange. New unit coming Monday. I see that another customer had a similar experience and now I question the reliability of this product. I guess we shall see.

I like the space, but disappointed overall color
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just received the new refrigerator and we love the extra space and organization, but we feel extremely deceived with the color. It said that it was “stainless steel”, but in the item specs it never said that the top and sides are actually grey paint and it really stands out because our kitchen doesn’t have grey at all. The online pictures make it look all stainless steal. Now it doesn’t match the other appliances and I don’t know what to do.
