    I'm not sure what the odds are of getting a defective refrigerator -- I would think the odds are supposed to be extremely low, which means I was extraordinarily unlucky, or LG's quality control is extraordinarily poor. After delivery and installation, the water dispenser ceased functioning on the first day. I then noticed everything I placed in the fridge side have been frozen solid. Temperature was set at the default setting, 37 deg F for the fridge, and 0 deg F for the freezer. I tried increasing the temperature to the maximum (46 deg F for the fridge), and everything was still frozen solid. I called Best Buy right away, and at first they offered to exchange it right off the bat, but then it turned out they couldn't do that and had to send the installation team out again next week to make sure everything was installed correctly. On the following week, the installation team came out, and confirmed everything was installed correctly and the fridge was defective, and then I had to wait again until the next available timeslot for the exchange delivery. Overall, after paying over $1800 dollars, I had to try and manage two weeks without a functional fridge. This fridge has some cool features, but definitely not enough to worth the price or the hassle.

    Shelves are not adjustable and freezer space is limited. Bestbuy Salesman made promises that Bestbuy couldn't or wouldn't uphold. I paid for water connection and was scheduled. Then, a customer service person phoned to say that they didn't have an installer to go into a 4-1/2' crawl space. A few days later I received a request to reschedule. I still have not had anyone come out to connect the water. I would not have bought a refrigerator from Bestbuy if they couldn't connect. I paid a connection fee and have no connection and no refund. I am very disappointed.
