Door in Door shelf cracked

Last week I noticed the bottom shelf in the door in door portion was cracked. We only keep 1 gallon milk on that shelf. You can't replace just that bottom piece, the whole insert for the door in door would have to be replaced. I contacted LG, and their response: call parts to order!!! My previous refrigerator was a kenmore elite I owned for 12 years, not once did I have to replace a shelf. Totally dissatisfied!

Ice Machine problems

Luckily I'm in 1 year warranty period, so technicians are coming out again to fix it. It took them 3 visits to fix ice machine first time.

Limited shelf adjustability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2 unpleasant surprises: limited shelf adjustability and BestBuy refused to connect the water line. Due to limited inventory, we had to buy this model sight unseen (because we really wanted the door-in-door in a side-by-side configuration); we did not want the bottom freezer drawers that you will find in most models that feature a door-in-door. There is very limited adjustability of the shelves, typically each shelf has only 2 height levels. The bins in the door-in-door have no height adjustment; but there may be enough of them for us to get used to it. The other surprise: the BestBuy delivery team refused to connect the existing copper water line so we had to pay for a plumber to do it. You also have to get used to closing the door-in-door firmly with a little extra push or else it does not seal tightly.

Ice maker didn't work, Geek squad came out order a new ice maker and came out to replace it almost 2 weeks after purchased and delivered... Ice maker worked for about a week and a half only to break again... I have spoken to and been transferred from one rep to another... all to be treated as if I WAS THE REASON the fridge was broken!! Worst experience EVER!!! Could've went to 3 other places, but decided to go to Best Buy... HUGE MISTAKE!!
