We keep all the food that we eat everyday- milk, creamer etc. in door-in-door to save energy. Any left overs are also stored in door-in-door section so I know what food needs to be eaten first. We love the ice and water dispenser because it's very convenient. We were impressed from the BEST BUY sales person to the delivery people.

Compressor went bad after seven years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked everything about this refrigerator - the design, the look, the shelving, the ice/water dispenser - everything. But after seven years of operating just fine, it just stopped cooling and freezing. The technician said LG installed compressors that go bad after awhile. They have since redesigned the new compressors but it's going to cost me $600 to pay someone to fix it. The warranty only covers the compressor, not the labor. Choose another brand or you'll be paying twice for this model.

The only complaint I have is that sometimes veggies in the vegetable drawer will freeze if they’re too close to the freezer side. I love the option of the small door for the things that we use frequently. That took a bit to get used to but now I can’t imagine not having it.

Good for 3 person household

We have not run into any issues in 3 months. A few things of note: The labels on the water and ice have worn very quickly. The top crisper drawer cannot be opened while the bottom is open. We are happy with our upgrade and hope that it lasts us a good, long while.
