We focused on the space it was going in and almost had a refrigerator that was going to stay outside. The refrigerator/water/ice dispenser are exactly what we hoped it would be. The quick grab storage and access capability is really useful as we expected.

We keep all the food that we eat everyday- milk, creamer etc. in door-in-door to save energy. Any left overs are also stored in door-in-door section so I know what food needs to be eaten first. We love the ice and water dispenser because it's very convenient. We were impressed from the BEST BUY sales person to the delivery people.

Compressor went bad after seven years

But after seven years of operating just fine, it just stopped cooling and freezing. The technician said LG installed compressors that go bad after awhile. They have since redesigned the new compressors but it's going to cost me $600 to pay someone to fix it. The warranty only covers the compressor, not the labor. Choose another brand or you'll be paying twice for this model.
