Issues with the water filter

We had issues with the water filter almost immediately after purchasing. And the space inside the fridge isn't that big. If we don't use the ice option on the feidge doir everyday the ice becomes a big large chunk and I have to go in manually and take it out. On the outside it looks beautiful and everyone seems to love the way it looks, however I feel I spent to much for a fridge that's just OK.

missing folding shelf

Multiple calls to the store to talk to Manager to resolve issues resulted in no response. Felt like once the purchase was done, they were completely different team.

Lasted 4 months and now they cant service it

Today it is August 1st 2022 and the refrigerator is no longer working. It is throwing an error code saying the fan is burnt out. I switched from Samsung to LG hoping to have better experiences with home appliances, but boy is this a let down. On top of all that, Best Buy wont take the product back and LG has no service groups in my area. LG said they need 3 - 5 business days to research who can work on my refrigerator. Now we get to throw everything in our refrigerator away and wait for LG or BestBuy to fix this problem.

Life is not always good.

Damaged

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My refrigerator was dented and was delivered that way didn’t notice it till days later and now I’m having to go out of my way to clean out the old fridge and have someone come in to my home and take it out and bring a new one in. It’s a big inconvenience to me this should have been checked that product was in good condition, I’m very disappointed that this huge company would let something like this slip through the system and make a second time customer very unhappy also my ice maker works when it wants to and the water comes out very slow takes about a minute to fill up a glass of water, I paid 2500 for that price it should make water out of air

Water filter system doesn’t work

The water/ice filter in my old 17-year-old refrigerator worked great but that refrigerator died. The water and ice coming out of the new LG refrigerator tastes horrible like it’s coming right out of the tap and the ice tastes like plastic. This LG fridge ice/water filtration system in this new refrigerator doesn’t work - I cut the filter in half and it was dry as a bone - water isnt going thru it. LG sent a guy out to fix it who spent 10 seconds looking at it and said I need an additional 2nd filter on the outside. I’ll never ever ever ever buy a LG refrigerator again.

Have had to constantly reset both units to get ice. Beautiful unit and I love the side door, but the ice machines need work. Unfortunately, I can't return or get a repair person to come out. Looks like i'm resetting every 3 plus hours for the ice to drop.

Ice produced is unusable.

Best Buy gave us a second one but the results are the same. We have good water in St. Louis but you’d never know it with this LG fridge. Surprising that CU is so high on it. Plastic stale note in ice.

Too much “normal” noise

They even have a section on their website with all the noises this fridge supposed to make. NEVER AGAIN LG for appliances

Horrible refrigerator nightmare

Don’t buy this at Best Buy

Bad delivery

Dual ice makers are the best1

Our family goes through a lot of ice, so the dual ice makers have made our life so much easier. I'm also a hobby cake decorator and this fridge makes it so easy to chill cakes- even tall cakes, while not displacing the rest of your groceries. Super quiet. The view door is kind of a fun novelty. Our dog's bark is enough to light it up, but we actually don't use it much. We do however, use the door in door feature all the time! We've never been so happy with a fridge.
