    Avoid LG At All Costs

    Perfectly fine fridge on paper, but avoid at all costs due to terrible LG service. My fridge never properly cooled, so I did all the recommended troubleshooting. No luck, so I contacted support again. They had me do all the same troubleshooting, and then told me that it was because my fridge was overfilled (it was empty). I had to go through this process (including an overnight manual defrost) three times before they finally scheduled a repair — which they attempted to charge me for.

    Don’t buy this LG refrigerator

    Dont buy the LG refrigerator; hasn’t worked correctly since day one. LG has been out for 3 service calls and now been waiting over a week for them to contact Best Buy that they recommend a replacement, exchange or refund. Terrible customer service on the part of LG and Best Buy. Worthless! Will be disputing this charge on my credit card.

    The worse appliance I’ve ever seen

    This refrigerator is TERRIBLE!! I wish I could return it before it destroys my entire kitchen. The glass panel covering the crisper is so flimsy that anything will shatter it. I bought a replacement and IT shattered also because one of the door shelves FELL when I opened the door. The design of this refrigerator is so awful, I am considering boycotting all LG products. If I could return it, I would in a heartbeat. Stay far away from this refrigerator!!! I am currently about to clean off fine glass from my entire body. This refrigerator is going to hurt someone.

    fridge came in broken the wifi for the fridge was very messed up and the fan on the bottom was broken and no one let u know about the damages

    This fridge looks nice, but it does not have a water reservoir for the water dispenser, only a water line. You will get about 5 seconds of cold water, then it just dispirited warm water from the regular water line.

    We were happy with the fridge for 8 months and then it died. Make sure you get the year of geek squad when you buy appliances. LG was not willing to replace the fridge within the year. They had me call Best Buy and ask for the replacement through them. Repair for the fridge would have taken another week. Thats 2 weeks without a fridge. I went with a replacement through BB. The tech said the whole circuit board blew out over the fine crushed ice creating a surge and that this was a common issue. Um ok its been 8 months. Never again with LG.

    Wish there was another drawer in the fridge. Not impressed with the ice maker, does not produce that much ice and it spits it all over when trying to fill a bottle. I don’t like that you cannot see the actual temperatures.

    No ICE!!!!!!

    Looked good but ice maker was extremely bad. In more than 48 hours it managed to make 3 cups of ice and 3 half balls of craft ice. That is it for me and LG or Samsung appliances.

    Worst refrigerator ever! The shelves fall off the door all the time. LG sent me new shelves but I had the same problem. A glass shelf broke. I have called several times to get a replacement. I get the replacement and it’s the wrong size. The craft ice maker broke. The repairman came out, ordered a new one and I am now waiting for a technician. I am so done with this refrigerator. I think I’m going to scrap it. Chalk it up as a bad decision. I will never buy LG again.

    The metal on the doors and side panels is incredibly cheap, it scratches and dents very easily. I feel like every time I walk past it there’s a new dent in the metal and I don’t have the slightest clue how it happens.

    HORRIBLE water taste that I cannot get out

    I have drained about 10 gallons of water through the water filter on this fridge and could not get the horrible taste out. Still talking with LG about that but I just discovered the icemaker broke after a month which prompted this review.

    BestBuy repair guy sucks or the refrigerator does.

    Have had this refrigerator a year and a half and have had people come to the house for repairs 5 times. Diagnose a problem, replace parts, diagnose a problem, replace parts, break something else, come out diagnose the new problems, now I am waiting on parts again. I was told the service guy was fired so I am not sure if it was him or the refrigerator. I did love it when it was working.
