I had people come at least 4-5 times , the last being a couple of weeks ago . He did not finish the job , yet told them he did . My freezer is still not working right. Ive had food spoil 3 times already . When i call they are no help at all .. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY !! I went a purchased a new fridge from home depot .. i made sure to ask about the extended warranty.. they will come within 3 days and if they cant fix the problem they replace the fridge or give you credit ..I decided that its not worth dealing with best buy or their extended warranty, as i have more important things to do .. a refrigerator should not break after only 2 years .. do not buy from best buy ..

The original compressor went out within the warranty period. They replaced it, the replacement went out within a year. They replaced the replacement, and it went out in less than a year. They replaced the replaced, replacement and IT when out in less than a year. NOW GUESS WHAT, they said it's no longer in Warranty and won't repair it. So I've owned it for a total of 6 years, and had 4 faulty compressors, and all they did was replace them until it was out of warranty. that's BS!! - Trying to find out if I can sue them in small claims court.

Not a great fridge
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of things broke on this fridge right before its 2 year warranty expired, thank the lord. The ice maker constantly froze, water filter darn near impossible to replace, and many other issues.

Estimated cost of repair was over $1100 just for the parts not including labor.....then to try access LG online was the end for me.......i loved this refrigerator, hands down!!! But in researching the issues, o pted to replace with another brand....such a shame.....btw there is a classaction lawsuit due to the issues LG has with the "linear compressor" models.....not a happy customer and i wont buy any other LG products again

I like the older model, but the new one has black frame all around the door which is very ugly. It looks like there is way too much contrast. He said all the new ones will come with all black now. So I guess I have to look at different brands.

It is also NOT a fingerprint proof surface—it’s pretty bad. It keeps food cool and dispenses water and ice as it should. The delivery process was HORRIBLE—they wouldn’t install it and after the installer left, he got in some kind of fender bender and called the police—then left. Cops showed up at our house afterward, knocking on my door, scaring the heck out of us—we didn’t know why they were there. It was awful. The installer yelled at me and hung up on me when I called him, obviously upset. Then, after I complained about this, they sent THE SAME MAN out a second time to complete the install. The experience was horrible.
