I like the see through door and instant light but you would probably find yourself opening the door anyway because of the bottles in way of view. Only downfall is that you must have a compatible phone and wifi connection if you plan to use the app

Second one came two weeks later, causing my house to go 4 weeks without ice. Second one arrived dent free. After they tried to convince me to keep the dented one at a discount….. nope:

Cool in concept. Ok in execution

The craft ice pretty much attempts to make spherical iced but it leaves a sizable divot at the bottom. This would be much greater if the craft ice had unidirectional ice creation, which allows for clear ice.

The phone app monitors and controls the settings and functions. With the 27 Cu.Ft capacity, we have more than enough space.

We understand your inquiry and that the side-by-side configuration and the operation of the black door parts didn't meet your expectations when compared to a previous unit.
Regarding the "black parts" that do not open as expected, you may be referring to the Mullion (or French Door Seal), which is the vertical bar on the left refrigerator door. On side-by-side models, this part is fixed, unlike some French Door models where it is hinged to seal the gap between the two refrigerator compartments. This design is standard for a side-by-side refrigerator.
