    Associate tried to sell me the side by side ref with Instaview. I like the older model, but the new one has black frame all around the door which is very ugly. It looks like there is way too much contrast. He said all the new ones will come with all black now. So I guess I have to look at different brands.

    Consider another store to buy from

    The door keeps swinging out hard and I can’t fix this. Inside is smaller than I thought. It is also NOT a fingerprint proof surface—it’s pretty bad. It keeps food cool and dispenses water and ice as it should. The delivery process was HORRIBLE—they wouldn’t install it and after the installer left, he got in some kind of fender bender and called the police—then left. Cops showed up at our house afterward, knocking on my door, scaring the heck out of us—we didn’t know why they were there. It was awful. The installer yelled at me and hung up on me when I called him, obviously upset. Then, after I complained about this, they sent THE SAME MAN out a second time to complete the install. The experience was horrible.

    Damaged product

    It came with a dent in the door. I called right away. They said tgey were sending a new door. I haven’t received it and they didn’t respond to my request for a progress update.

    LG compressors dont last

    These new refrigerators by LG dont last. The compressors go out every 4 years. While my 20 year old refrigerator still running

    The picture appeared as if it had 4 individual doors, and a front small reach-in single door, but it's just 2 side-by-side doors. You lose a shelf in the freezer because of the craft ice. The the drawers do not have handles, so in order to open them you pull from the bottom of the drawer, which means you really have to bend down to open the bottom drawer. Also, it has one less drawer than my old fridge.

    Price Match

    I tried to buy this product from Best Buy but relaized it was on Clearance at Lowes for $800 cheaper and Best Buy wouldnt price match. Makes me wonder what else I have bought at Best Buy and could have got it way cheaper somewhere else and the fact that Best Buy wouldn’t price match it because it wasn’t on “Normal” sale.

    Waiting.....

    I would really like to be able to write a review of the product. I went into the store and ordered this unit Feb 5th and here it stands April 18th were I still have no unit and have had 3 appointments cancelled by Best Buy. The last two I have been bumped at the last moment just to be told I need to reschedule.

    Lg craft ice refrigerator

    1 year and the compressor died. Geek squad send out a tech who said the compressor was bad however he doesn’t work on seal systems. The set up an appointment with a third party company and they also don’t do compressor change out.
