Great Fridge

At first when my husband bought it I wasn’t sure. I was so use to having the freezer on the bottom. But…..now I’m in love. It’s so nice to be able to see everything in both the freezer and fridge!

I would also not recommend LG as their customer service has gone down drastically. I have called several times regarding our water issue and have done what they recommended (change the water line to a pex line) and it didn't change the taste. I started the calls from the onset of getting our fridge. Recently I called back and it was promised that a supervisor would call me back. It has been a week and still no call. They previously told me they would send a tech out to check on our water dispenser and they did not follow through on that. I will not be purchasing an LG appliance again. Our old fridge was an LG and had great success with Geek Squad as that fridge had challenges with the ice maker (it ended up being a recall situation). I figured it was safe to go with LG again however I was wrong.

No it's not connected to the internet but if you're considering this model, like me, thats probably not important anyway. This is a simple refrigerator with a ginormous 27.4 cf of capacity. I replaced an LG French door model that was still running perfectly after 15 years but really wanted a bit more space and had grown tired of the French door design - especially the freezer which for me was difficult to find items in. Love how both sides of the refrigerator have shelves which make it simple to find items and keep things organized. Also I am really impressed with the door cooling function which keeps items stored in either the freezer or the refrigerator side at a consistent temperature so no worrying about milk or other items kept in the door getting spoiled.

No lunch meat drawer or shelf on door for butter dish is tough to get used to as is the lack of exterior handles. Otherwise a fine unit.
