This is a great refrigerator.....stores a lot of food in both the refrigerator side and the freezer side. Water / Ice dispenser works well. Very sleek with the handles in the door and not sticking out. Very quite unless it needs water to make ice and then you can hear a little noise. Only drawback I see for some people is that is doesn't have a cold cut draw and an egg / butter bin (on the door) that most other refrigerators have.....but that didn't matter to me.

We only used it for about six months right now, so can not give a complete review on performance yet, but so far so good! There is lots of space for food storage in this fridge, and it cools very well. Also like the spacing of the different compartments, it is not crampy at all! Freezer and ice maker works very good as well. The fridge is very low on noise, you can barely notice it, it's very quiet. Opening the doors is also a breeze and easy. If there is any negative point I could make , it is that the doors leave a lot of finger marks and smudges from opening and closing, so you have to clean the doors often!

You have made a good choice for a first-time purchase for your brand-new home or your extra one for additional storage. You have lots of space inside the freezer and the cooler with plenty to spare for storing your items including the added space the door shelves offer. An excellent and very compact water filtration that does not take usable space away unlike other refrigerators. The bad of this model is that it is absolutely cheaply made. The glass shelves bow when you add weight to them. For comparison, my 3 year older Samsung refrigerator with glass shelving has 6.25 mm thick shelves and acrylic baskets on the doors whereas this one has about 4.8 mm thick shelves and door baskets, and the drawers also cannot support too much weight, they aren't made to be stuffed to the brim with items as they will bow with the weight. You will need extra space on the sides. The instructions suggest 2 inches on each side for breathing, but I found the difficult way that in order to fully open the doors you are going to need a lot more than that. The drawers have this annoying limitation that if you open the door and it is directed straight at 90 degrees you cannot pull them out, you need the door to open at least 120 degrees making it a poor choice for a tight space such as a laundry room. I do not believe that this refrigerator is made to live in a garage without temperature control. There is a motor filter on the side of the unit that is accessible and it is not reusable. I do believe it can be cleaned carefully and re-used -Time will tell me when it is time to service it in 6 months. Luckily! this fan is similar in size to any computer fan and the filter can be swapped with a good computer fan filter or you can DIY a better fan filter. Because this unit uses cooling fan(s) on each side, you have to take extra care and leave at least the recommended 2 inches gap on each side for breathing. You also need to take into consideration that the filters do have to be serviced at least twice a year or more if you have shedding pets and avoid placing the refrigerator in a dusty area.

I’ve had this refrigerator for a month now and I absolutely love it. It is very spacious, love the ice maker in the door instead of inside the freezer, it gives you more space, also the ice dispenser is super quiet. I like the size of the ice cubes (smaller so they fit easily in my water bottle). The lightening inside is very bright, the shelves in the door are very spacious and holds gallon jugs, also everything inside stays really cool with the all around air cooling. I love the smooth and sleek look of the outside doors. The fridge itself runs super quiet, I could go on and on about this fridge, you will not be disappointed!

So far so good keeps stuff very cold looks nice I was a little surprised about the no handles but it’s okay I really like it!

I have no complaints for the last refrigerator I owned, it lasted 18 years and was still working when replaced it. This LG gives me much more room and is quiet. Love the side by side design (don't understand why one would want the freezer on the bottom). I did not want the unit with "designer" ice cubes opting instead for the extra shelf of freezer space. Hope this LG lasts as long as the last one. So far I love it and have not complaints.

Let's be honest, a more usable review would be after a year or two but no one is going to come back and do that. But I can mention a couple things I like. This thing is very maneuverable, so easy to position and did not damage my wood floor. Next, it is quite cavernous. Shelves are nicely spaced and both side hold a lot of items. It's super quiet. I'm very happy after my research of price and the quality seems okay so far. As a note, I have two new Kitchen Aid very high dollar friges that are total junk. Two years old and they are broken almost constantly.

Unbelievable Refrigerator/Freezer! So big and so user friendly! This ice maker is the best I’ve ever had, you can’t overwork it! Love the design and workmanship, it’s a breeze to keep clean. In love with this refrigerator. Delivery went smooth, only here 10 minutes and that included unpackaging, taking off and putting back on our front door so it would fit. Easy for us to hook up the water line ourselves. Only took a few hours to reach perfect temperature. Followed instructions and dumped the first batch of ice and 2.5 gallons of water. Ice Plus is a nice feature since this household of four uses plenty of ice! This fridge is about 2.5cu ft bigger than our old top freezer refrigerator and wow what a difference that little bit makes! I have so much room in both fridge and freezer. Our old ice maker bucket took up half a shelf of space so having tons of room really helps stay better organized and not overcrowded. The door alarm is great especially when people are forgetful. I thought I’d miss a deli drawer and butter door but absolutely not. Bottom drawer is big enough for all produce and the top drawer is perfect for deli meats and cheeses. I love the amount of space and the sturdiness in the door shelves as well. I researched and researched, don’t let a few negative reviews sway you on this one. The smooth finish is easy to clean and won’t trap grime and no handles is nice too! So far so good.

I like it it’s an LG so I’m accustomed to it. It’s very spacious I live alone so I don’t put much in it but it definitely gets the job done. I do prefer handles but I do like the sleek look to it. It feels modern that way so no biggie.

This fridge is awesome, it’s large capacity, fits so much food and freezer stuff. The ice maker works perfect. I’ve had this about 8 months now with no problems! The filter for the water is fairly cheap they have them on amazon for pack of 2 for $35. It’s easy to clean, and I love the door handles.

Nice refrigerator. No extra bells and whistles… No touchscreens, or Wi-Fi connection. Just a good pretty much old-fashioned fridge. The icemaker is nice, it makes medium size cubes that aren’t those weird kind of boat shaped ones that other fridges make. Easy electronic controls for temperature, nice LED lighting. My last LG lasted 17 years before I gave it away and bought this one. I recommend this refrigerator if you want a good, basic, high-quality fridge.

The fridge is spacious but is missing many features of other refrigerators that make clever use of the space. Shelf heights are not adjustable and do not slide out, there is no center slide out bin nor is there an egg shelf. The water filter that came with it doesn’t seem to work so the water in the door (and the ice) tastes bad.

We love the space that the LG fridge that we purchased provides. My wife did notice that the additional cabinets could use a specific space for cheese and meats. Quality is amazing and we do love the Platinum Silver and although it is not the finger print free version the finish has no issues with excessive smudges and fingerprints. We purchased as a replacement to our Samsung that we purchased through Best Buy multiple years ago, the Samsung had known issues that continue even after fixing continue to be an issue.

We overall like the frig. Two things are missing; a butter compartment and a drawer for cheese, cold cuts etc. The unit pops every so often. I attribute the pops to settlement. Overall we are happy with the frig. It has lots of storage and very quiet. You can barely hear the ice maker.

Pros: Nice size. I can fit a lot inside it with multiple shelves and drawers. The shelve inside the door is great for fitting drinks and jugs! Stays evenly cool— no top shelf freezing nonsense. Water filter is easy to install and replace. Cons: the ice maker runs out fairly fast. In order to open the drawers you MUST open the door as far as it will possibly go and even then you have to push on the seal on the door in order to open the drawers. This refrigerator is big. I had measured where it was to go and although the dimensions fit, since the doors have to bend all the way back in order to use the drawers, we couldn’t use the refrigerator in its place because the doors hit the counters. We had to move it somewhere else and get a long water cord for it to connect.

This fridge is very spacious and looks sleek. I always get comments from people on how nice it looks. I like how it has a bent over the door to keep drinks and condiments cool. Overall the fridge does a great job as does the freezer portion. Very quiet too.

Good size for a family of 5. Icemaker is relatively quiet. Love the crushed ice option. It's very spacious without being an oversized fridge. Good value for the price.
