Good size for a family of 5. Icemaker is relatively quiet. Love the crushed ice option. It's very spacious without being an oversized fridge. Good value for the price.

My husband & I bought this LG to replace an 11 year old Samsung (similarly configured) that finally failed on June 28th, while we were out buying 4th-of-July meats. Luckily, this LG was on sale, so we bought the 5-year Geek Squad Protection Plan and still came in close to the every-day price. . The LG units boast of a 5-year limited warranty on the pump unit. We found just about every other brand has only 1-year warranty on everything. Temperature Stability: . We saw several posts about seeing irregular temperature swings using sophisticated measuring gear. What we are seeing is the air swinging between 33 and 42 degrees, at times. However, using a mechanical gauge inserted in my insulated insulin bag shows the temperature in the bag stays pretty consistently between 39 and 41 degrees. The '37 degree' light is a setting or goal, so don't be alarmed if you see it not change. . Air Flow vents in the unit seem to do a great job of circulating air to all shelves. The Samsung was radiant cooling. Not sure if the newer ones are, but this is not nearly as effective, and meant warmer temps nearer the top. Water & Ice: This is a light to moderate use ice maker. My husband is a heavy ice user and has additional ice trays in the freezer. The unit makes more than enough ice for just me. The water flow is slower than the Samsung and also seems to not be as chilled, especially after about a glass worth has been dispensed. Not an issue for us, but I have seen some negative comments about the temp. Butter Compartment?: We have historically had a compartment dedicated to a butter dish. Not in this unit. It isn't a deal-breaker for us. Space is actually maximized by not having the door area configured for one. Shelves & Bins: Only the top shelf in the refrigerator section can be adjusted, and there area only two positions. The bottom refrigerator bin is extra deep, meaning that it extends up to the door shelf. To be able to slide that bin out far enough to access it, the right door has to be fully extended. If the refrigerator is up against the wall on the right side, the door may not be able to be opened far enough to access the bin. Freezer Section: This unit has slightly more refrigerator space and slightly less freezer space than our old unit. It is not as wide by about an inch. That was enough to not be able to put some things side-by-side on a shelf that we used to be able to do. Caught us off guard, but we adapted. You might want to check those measurements. Power Efficiency: The 2012 26 cu ft Samsung that failed was rated at 562kW hours per year, and this LG is rated at 726KW hours per year. Neither one was "Energy Star Certified", but the difference is calculated at about $24 per year. If you are concerned about conserving electricity, this may be something to factor into your purchasing decision. Time will tell, but this unit is so far more than adequate.

I love this refrigerator. It's quiet, even the indoor ice maker. The no handles, sleek look is great. The ice/water dispenser is very user friendly. The shelves and drawers are easy to remove and install. Definitely a 5-Star refrigerator!

I purchased and had this model delivered about a month ago. Overall, I am pleased with the design and modern look. For a side by side style, its VERY spacious as the shelves are pretty deep. My only gripe, which is very minor, is that the water dispenser on the door does not have a collection tray. Its just a flat surface so if you happen to spill a little water it will quickly find its way dripping down the front door and/or on the floor. Aside from this, love having a upgraded sleek refrigerator and would recommend to others. Perhaps Samsung will consider adding the collection tray in the future.

This LG side by side refrigerator is very spacious. It runs very quiet. We like the easy access to the ice maker. Buy it .

Tons of space. Keeps food cold and seems to evenly cool well. Water/ice maker works great. Side by side with the look of the freezer bottom/French door with a killer clean modern and sleek look.

Great refrigerator. Has more room than I expected. Only nitpick is the lower drawers have a grip that should be at the top but they are at the bottom requiring bending over more. Overall I really like this refrigerator.

Runs very quietly. Ice and water on the front door is very convenient. The machine has it's own carbon filter to get the chlorine out before making ice and the water is filtered too. No finger print surface really works, I mean REALLY. It cleans with a damp paper towel when you need to clean splatter or grease from cooking. Huge interior space and it is well lit. Our last LG refrig, just like this one, lasted 22 years before starting not to shut off, running all the time. It's a good deal. Get one, you will be happy!

We purchased our new LG Side-by-Side Smart Refrigerator over a month ago, and we are absolutely loving it so far! It replaced an old, noisy 17-year-old Kenmore that wasn't doing its job anymore. This new stainless steel LG refrigerator is beautiful - it is really quiet, energy-efficient, spacious and cools to just the right temperature. There is more than ample space for frozen foods on the freezer side. The ice/water dispenser in the door feature is convenient and functions well too. Absolutely one of the best purchases we've made! Got it on sale - great value, awesome buy! Highly recommend this refrigerator!

I love this refrigerator! So much space and having the ice maker in the door frees up lots of freezer space. That was always an issue with my other refrigerators. The ice machine is quiet and opening the doors without a handle is brilliant. Also looks nice without them. I highly recommend it!

Wife wanted white. Check. A side by side. Check. Quiet running. Check. Plenty of space for what you need. The only thing the wife missed from the old refrigerator was some drawers. Other than that, very satisfied. A basic refrigerator without all the electronics you don't really need.

May not be the most common style fridge but its functionality is 10/10. Great size and great bang for your buck. Seen a couple French door fridges in this price range but none had the size. Also it doesn’t have handles that are visible but they do work well.

Over a year since we purchased and it is still working great. The innards are designed very well so there is much more room for storage than it would seem. The shelf arrangement allows for a clear view of contents so that food is easy to find. The ice and water maker still works very well too. The compressor is very quiet if that is a concern. All around a great purchase.

This refrigerator is all it is advertised to be. It has lots of room, runs very quietly and the water/ice dispenser works perfectly. Will also be a great energy saver.

Great space and functional space LG is usually my goto brand for most large appliances and TVs this refrigerator is great and will keep using hope it lasts me 10+ years like my previous LG refrigerator. Love how the ice maker is attached to door so it doesn’t take up much interior space space saver

Love this fridge fridge side is wide enough for an extra large pizza box then some and freezer side is so big and nice and you can see everything you put in it unlike the kind that have the bottom drawer

We have had this frig for almost a month, so far everything is great. So easy to install and its huge compared to the last one. Getting use to no handles took a little bit. I love the ice in the door, no big bin taking up a whole shelf is really nice. I would recommend this frig.
