Not because they are needing to be replaced but because we are replacing the competition. Check out Consumer Reports. LG is hands down the most reliable at this price point.

There is always a rattle going on or something kicking in. Previously had a Whirlpool side by side, and the only noise would be the occasional ice drop. Would not buy again for this reason
