LG tech support said the issue was not covered even though they claim a 10-year warranty on the compressor which doesn't seem to be working. Thankfully I added a 5 yr geek squad protection plan They are easy to work with but I have to wait 2 days which isn't a big deal. I have read that LG is being sued over this exact issue so you may want to stay away until LG gets it together. I own a few LG products and had been satisfied with their TV's so far but I wasn't happy after talking to their tech support based out of India

We like the duel freezers to allow better organized foods. The ice dispenser crushes and cubes, small ice holder

Water dispenser and ice dispenser quit working. I had Bought the 3 year warranty, so i had geek squad came out and they fixed it. Fast forward to feb 2025, same error code again. Still under warranty having them come out again to fix. Warranty to expire in 2026 so pretty nervous, purchase with caution.

We bought the extended warranty and Bestbuy has sent out repairman 4 separate times where they would tweak with the fridge, replace ice bucket, replace, sensors, etc., and still no ice. 4 times that we've had to stay home and wait for the repairman and told to wait 24 hours to have it never work. For the price paid it is ridiculous and infuriating. Hands down the worst purchase I have ever made. Will not be purchasing anymore LG products or other appliances from Best Buy.
