Computer circuit boards go out, compressor issues, light duty wire. He advised that you should keep the old refrigerator if it works because you will need the backup when this one goes out.

The compressor went out after 14 months and the service company told me they are so backed up it will take 2 more days for them to come out. They say everyone who bought this refrigerator is having the same problem. I haven't had the use of it for 2 days over the weekend, and now I have to wait 2 more days.

Purchase this for a gift. The 1st unit came in. We got it all hooked up and it did not dispenser water. Even got a new water line. Best buy quickly replaced the unit a week later. Once it arrived the 2nd unit did the same exact thing. They suggested to send a 3rd! That also is defective! Best buy has did nothing to assist us and take responsibility. They suggested to call the manufacturer! What a joke. Will never buy from them again.

Contacted LG and began a five week odessey of attempting to get it repaired. LG was unable to send a certified technician out to repair it. Ended up being able to exchange it.
