Very Happy With our Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our refrigerator! Food doesn’t get pushed to the back where you can’t find it. The brilliant layout makes it so easy to store and organize everything. Very roomy inside! Love that it doesn’t take up too much room in the kitchen. Ice maker/water dispenser is amazing! It’s quiet and beautiful too! It keeps everything at a perfect temperature, Thank you, LG for making a product! Got a great deal at Best Buy!

Roomy, Cold, Quiet, and Decent Useful Live
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this fridge for 6 years and the compressor decided to quit one day. But, it is a really good one, I decided to buy the same exact model. It is roomy, quiet, looks good, and most importantly it keeps the interior cold. What I didn't know is that the compressor is under warranty for 10 years (parts only from years 6-10). Nowadays, after reading so many reviews, there is not a single brand or fridge that does not have a problem, so I am willing to take another chance with this fridge. LG customer service is pretty excellent too. I was considering Frigidaire or Whirlpool or KitchenAid, but all of them have negative reviews too, and they are not built like they were used to, and they seem to be louder than the LG brand refrigerators.

Great looking, lots of storage
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had this for almost 3 months and are very happy with it. The refrigerator section is huge. The double freezer makes it very easy to organize frozen goods, and it seems like it holds more because it's so easy to organize. It looks very nice, is easy to keep clean, and the doors hold magnets. I've had to open the ice drawer to unjam ice twice now but that is very easy to do. The ice dispenser doesn't hold a lot but you can empty it into the provided container to keep in the freezer if you want to store more ice. The wi-fi isn't useful as you you can set target temperature but can't see the actual temperature, so I've turned off wi-fi. I only have two minor negatives. I wish that the shelves pulled out - I have to stand on a small stool to reach into the back of the upper shelves. And dispensed ice tends to go all over the place, something about how it dispenses. But other than those two minor items this is a win so far!

Great refrigerator!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the space in the refrigerator and the fact that there are two separate freezer drawers. It works great, is quiet and keeps the temperature accurately. I had purchased two GE products a couple years ago that don’t work well at all. This makes me appreciate my LG appliance even more!

Fridge provides great flexibility and storage
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy installed our fridge a few weeks ago, and we've been quite happy with the fridge. It has great capacity in the fridge and the freezer. - The thin ice maker does, indeed, save a lot of space. - The two freezer drawers have allowed us to organize and access our frozen food like never before. - We also really like the french doors for accessing food without having to open the whole fridge. - The french doors don't require as much space around the front of the fridge as single-door units need. Our last fridge (single-door) would hit our chairs by the kitchen island. With this fridge -- which is wider and more spacious than the last one -- we open the doors and have room to spare before the chairs by the island. We can be sitting in the chairs without fear of being hit if somebody opens the fridge door. :-) - The water and air filters are easy to access. - The ice maker is easy to open and access. It creates enough ice for daily use. For parties, you'll likely want to empty the bin (LG provides a freezer bin/pan for just this use-case). - Some customer reviews report this fridge is noisy. Usually, we don't hear any noise. Once in a while, the compressor kicks on for a few seconds. If the room is quiet, we'll hear it. The same is true (as is the case with all fridges I've had with ice makers) when the ice maker dumps cubes into the ice maker bin. Overall, though, we don't notice noise from this fridge. A few minor downsides: - The deli drawer is nice, but it runs the whole width of the fridge. This means you have to open both french doors to access it; that's inconvenient and lets a lot of cold air escape. - The delivery team told us to run a gallon of water through the filter before trying to drink the water. We ran at least that much but found the water tasted a little like plastic. We had to run a few gallons to clear the taste. - The ice maker has an on/off toggle switch; accidentally turning it off when opening the ice maker door is pretty easy. Keep an eye on it (especially if you know you'll need ice.) - The stainless steel finish looks great -- from the front; only the front and the sides of the doors are stainless steel. The side is a textured, dark gray finish. Our fridge sticks out past the cabinets and an inch or so of the fridge unit (before you get to the french doors) is visible. Thus, we can see a bit of the unfinished side -- this isn't horrible, but you should be aware that the sides are not stainless steel.

Pretty good fridge
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a good fridge. I prefer the fridge w a middle drawer. This one you have to open the whole top (both French doors) to open the inner large drawer where we stored most used foods kids grab. The shelves are glass do you can see items. The side baskets on the doors are reasonably sized. Its been about 2 years and the Ice maker might be going out. It’s also very small ice maker cubicle. Never made it through a dinner with everyone home without running out. The freezer space is pretty on point. I do like that!

Great Affordable Fridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had the fridge for a little over a month now. The family really loves the water and ice dispenser. The fridge looks great and is quiet. This unit has ample room to hold most everything for a family of 5 with many different options to customize the shelving. I do wish there were more options for those taller items, such as milk.

LG 4-door French Door Smart Refridgerator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice fridge. Good space inside and the double drawer freezer is great for keeping things organized. Truly fingerprint proof which is wonderful. It is extremely quiet except when making ice, which is quite normal.

Got a dud the first time. New one a week later.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*STORY ON THE DUD REFRIGERATOR>>I'll start of by saying, I really do like this refrigerator even after the experience we had getting one that works right. We had this model of refrigerator delivered and installed on a Thursday. It showed up with the icemaker tray installed backwards and the crisper selection tray not working. I talked with the geek squad guys and told them I just wanted it fixed and we can work out a credit. By Friday I noticed that the temperature was much lower than the setting set by Geek Squad so I raised it up to 37deg which is the highest temp available. By Saturday evening all my food was frozen. As you know, some food cannot be frozen and rethawed for use. We had quite a bit of food that was ruined. I had just bought a giant package of ground beef from costco which i was planning to divide up into smaller portions for freezing, that froze inside the refrigerator. I still don't know how I'll be able to thaw and cook over 5lbs of ground beef. I contacted geek squad Saturday to schedule an appointment for them to come look at the refrigerator but by Sunday I called them back and told them I wanted a new refrigerator. Geek squad was less than helpful with getting this done. I called my local Best Buy where I had just purchased all new appliances and was helped right away. They were able to get a new refrigerator over to me the next Thursday. I had to ride to Best Buy and purchase 2 mini fridges to store all my refrigerated items in until then, and then I sent the mini fridges off with the refrigerator that freezes everything. The new replacement is working well and best buy offered me a small amount of gift card for all the trouble and food wasted. I feel it should have been more but I'm just happy the refrigerator is working. While this all sounds like a happy ending, there's something about getting a brand new refrigerator and having it not work from the jump thats unsettling. My kids milk was frozen, veggies were frozen, water and condiments were frozen, etc. I'll also add that I called LG to ask if there was anything I could do on my end and they were completely clueless and not really helpful at all, which I think says alot about them and makes me question buying all my appliances from LG. On to the refrigerator. This is a really nice refrigerator. It looks great and the print proof exterior is great when you have toddlers running around. The only thing I don't like about it is its not magnetic. So no more hanging things on the fridge. Boo. I love the fact that the icemaker is built into the door so it doesn't take up a ton of space in the back corner. The double freezer is something I didn't think i'd care much about but boy does it make it easier to get to your frozen things. The icemaker has a setting that when turned on, makes a bunch of ice for 24 hours, so if you're having a get together turn it on a day before and continuously empty the maker into the tray in the freezer or a cooler. If you leave any door open longer than like 30 seconds, it'll give you a continuous chime notification to let you know to shut it. Would be cool to get notifications like that on the app. Water filtration is great. Our water tastes very bleachy at our house and we've been buying gallon bottles to drink for 2 years now. Finally since getting this fridge installed we drink water from the filtered water on the fridge. It tastes great. When we first got it we couldn't figure out why we couldn't get many gallon and half gallon containers to fit in it without flipping them, then I realized the trays are split in the middle and can be moved up and down. So we've configured it now so we can get so much more in there. Really sweet. The app is something I need to use more of. You can change temperature, turn on or off ice plus, turn on energy saver and add foods with their expiration dates. Pretty cool. I wish it sent push notifications for when the door is open. After all the trouble, I do really love this fridge. I do have to take off 1 star for all the troubles we had, because it was a huge pain for almost a week. I appreciate the guys at the Charlottesville Best Buy for helping me get everything squared away.

Great kitchen fridge
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the LG French Door Smart Refrigerator with Smart Cooling System in Black Stainless Steel for a few months, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way! Pros: Sleek Design: The black stainless steel finish is absolutely stunning. It resists fingerprints and smudges, making it easy to keep looking clean and elegant. Smart Features: The Wi-Fi connectivity is a game-changer. I can monitor and adjust the temperature from my phone, and I even get alerts if the door is left open—perfect for my busy lifestyle. Efficient Cooling: The Smart Cooling System keeps all my groceries fresh for longer. Fruits and veggies stay crisp, and I never have to worry about uneven cooling. Spacious Interior: The layout is so well thought out! It comfortably fits everything from weekly groceries to large platters for gatherings, and the adjustable shelves make organizing a breeze. Quiet Operation: I barely notice when it’s running. It's much quieter than my old fridge. Cons: None so far! Everything works perfectly, and it looks great in my kitchen. If you’re in the market for a stylish, functional, and smart refrigerator, I highly recommend this one. It’s worth every penny!

Bought it Again!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We really like this refrigerator. So much so that we chose to repurchase it for our new home we are building. The combination of the price and quality is really good. We have had one small issue with the ice clumping together and not coming out of the dispenser, but that is minor and easily remedied since it can be easily broken up. It is probanly due to not being used daily. Otherwise, we are very satisifed with this appliance.

So far It's amazing...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After shopping for a appliance bundle, we build our house 20 years ago , they needed updating. I went from GE to LG. I don't really have anything bad to say about GE, they all work fine still, except the fridge has some puddling due to a frozen water line. They were also white, general contractor series. First of all the delivery guys were very good. Both orders (the dishwasher came a few days later). they called 10-15 minutes before they arrived and were in and out in no time. We opted to install our self. It was an easy process. I already had the hanger for the microwave up, the hoses we replaced on the dishwasher, it was needed. The fridge waterline was new and that only took a few steps. SO, the fridge is the stainless steel four door ice maker/water thru door.I mainly wanted this model because it did not require us to stoop down into the fridge. I love the deli/meat tray door. I can see whats inside and not have to cram meats and cheeses and deli items in a small square area. I would like a light on the second drawer for the bottom freezer. The slid shelf is also very cool. I don't have many tall things, so this area is just right. The ice maker is in the door which was a must for me, my husband did not really care either way, but, I did not want the ice maker to take up a lot of room inside the fridge and the door area. It was easy to connect to the wireless, but you need and android. Thankfully I have both IPhone and Android. I wish they had it for IPhone . Believe me, we shopped for two months. Get connected with IPhone and this would be 5 stars.

Really great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We enjoy this fridge. We upgraded from a muuuch older fridge, so we may have a bias in favor of its newness. However, my sister has a similar model and we like ours better for a few reasons. One, the ice maker in the door saves a TON of room, but it gives you to option to add an additional ice maker system if you need it. Two, it’s insanely quiet. Three, the double drawers are great, and they have a self-closing mechanism. I’m still getting used to the fact that you have to open both doors to use one of the drawers, but I love that particular drawer. It’s overall just a well-made fridge that uses space really well and allows for functional organization of your goods. We are very happy!

Great and Spacious Refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG Refrigerator has exceeded our expectations. It has plenty of space in the refrigerator, and the two freezer drawers help to keep the freezer organized. The folding shelf in the refrigerator is very handy when space is needed for taller items. It is extremely quiet compared to our old side-by-side refrigerator. The fingerprint resistant exterior works great and is very easy to keep clean. All that and it looks great too!
