Thank good I bought a five year extended warranty. The compressor went out which seems to be a common problem for LG. By court order they had to extend the warranty from 5 to 10 years. I didn’t want another LG but when Best Buy agreed to swap the broken one for a new one I was limited in availability for refrigerators. I hope and pray this fridge lasts longer than my first one. And the first one was a replacement for a Samsung fridge that only last seven years before it’s compressor went out but Samsung would do nothing to help so I will never own a Samsung product.

I wanted to buy a Samsung but they were sold out and not available any time soon. Salesman showed me this LG and explained all the features. Right there, my wife and I decided we would go with the LG. It was delivered after a few days and my wife and daughter love it. It has several cool features specially the door in door. You knock twice on the door and light turns on. I just hope it lasts as long as our former GE ref.
