I really like the convertible shelf that folds back to allow head space for much taller items on the shelf below when needed. I especially like the design of the ice maker compared to other brands I checked. It's design allows easy access to bulk ice. The dispenser on the door works well. The doors close easily and completely and the LED lighting is very nice, especially on the ice/water dispenser.

If I had to mention something negative it would be that the automatic ice compartment is small. However, if you plan ahead, you can simply empty the upper unit into the lower bucket (in freezer) and build up a supply for later use. I have not used the Wi-Fi feature so I cannot comment on it.

The only two small issues are that the sliding shelf sometimes slides when you dont want it to and the exterior is harder to get the fingerprints off than my laat frog. Very minor complaints though.

Defective unit, poor customer service

The delivery persons/installers couldn't fix it because it's not a leveling issue. Instead of creating more carbon imprint, we gave LG a chance to have a technician come out to fix it instead of returning it. We were informed that we would have to pay for the technician's service fee if it's not due to the manufacturer's defect. We don't know the mechanism of the refrigerator so we don't want to take the risk of ending up paying for the service. We should receive a perfect unit, not one that we may have to pay to make it work as it supposed to be. By the way, we registered the unit but the LG representative only had our phone number, but no model or the serial numbers on file. We are very dissatisfied with LG's customer service. The unit will be returned after this review is published.
