Not a dependable kitchen appliance brand

I just had to throw out an entire freezer full of food, as i await a technician to come out. Also, the ice maker has always jammed, requiring you to take a knife to stab at it and loosen it, so that it can be dispensed. My first time buying a major appliance other than Whirlpool brand, only because I had liked the extra space that having the ice maker built into the door gives you inside the fridge, instead of the usual ice maker unit taking up space from a shelf, but the issues this LG fridge has at NOT EVEN A FULL YEAR OLD, is not worth it. I did read about the potential compressor issue from other people and did pay for an extended warranty, but once that’s up, i’ll certainly avoid this brand for anything other than TV’s.
