    My refrigerator was delivered on May 5, 2018 and since November 3,2018 It has not worked. We heard a popping noise then a circuit tripped. Thank goodness we have a home warranty but i did not think i would have to pay a $75 deductible to fix a brand new appliance! The appliance repair guy came out on November 8th(earliest appointment) and took a picture of the burned out circuit board in back of the refrigerator. I still have to wait for the part to be delivered to him before he can even schedule the repairs. THANKSGIVING is next week!!!! I guess my family will have to eat elsewhere. This was a horrible purchase and mistake on my part. I wish I could give it ZERO stars!!!!

    Nice ergonomics, but the ice maker is almost worthless. Constantly running out of ice with only one person using the ice.

    Refused my perfectly good check because I hv my credit report because I did not ask for credit and Best Buy didn't check the bank where they wouldve found sufficiuent funds. This was a VERY imbarrassing experience and very insulting. I also found that my Best Buy credit account was closed too. all the identification

    Too small for us. Miss having door handles. Stainlesss gets lots of fingerprints.

    The fridge has been great except for the ice cube container which is very small. You have to remember to dump ice into bottom. I was use to my old refrigerator that stored a lot more.

    Three years and it's dead dead. Within 1 year defroster goes bad and it took 3 weeks and 2 visits for warranty repair. At three years the compressor goes out and needs replacement. Garbage! Why does it seem like the old refrigerators from my childhood never broke?

    Spacious, but loud for a modern refrigerator. Plus, thw water doesnt seem to ever get cold from the door.

    It broke at 15 months and even with the Geek Squad protection plan, the repair will take over a month. Groceries trashed and no fridge for a month. Do not buy this appliance. Do not buy a protection plan. Best Buy will not do anything fix your appliance outside of apologizing and offering gift cards.

    No ice maker in freezer

    Just bought this Refrigerator, have had it for 3 days. I did not realize it only has the ice maker in the door and none in the bottom freezer. Disappointed about that. I just assumed it did cause most do and does not state no ice maker in freezer. So if you want more ice than there is in the door, don’t buy this one.

    Be careful...we bought this in May of 2019 - so it's been two years. 1) Within a week, the freezer handle came off. Technician couldn't even fix it (and was a jerk...like it was going to be easy and a waste of time, but he quickly realized he was in over his head). They sent a new handle (the wrong one), then another. I put that one on, and it fell off three days later. I ended up super-gluing it on because support was so bad. 2) Now, the entire refrigerator has stopped keeping things cold. Woke up to a wet kitchen floor - freezer apparently stopped working, and the ice machine leaked melted ice out of the door dispenser. Ice cream = soup. Refridgerator stuff all warm...milk, etc. We have a 20-year old fridge that may be ugly, but it's never had a problem. This one has been non-stop problems. Would not recommend. (LG has been awful to deal with, btw)

    This LG French Door refrigerator failed after only 2 and 1/2 years use. The compressor failed and there was only a one year warranty. Will not purchase a LG refrigerator again. We were lucky that we purchased an additional 3 year warranty when we purchased it. We bought a different brand refrigerator.

    Cannot be repaired

    We purchased this refrigerator with a full kitchen suite in June 2018 after reading reviews and we were satisfied for a year and a half up til Thanksgiving 2019. At that time a power surge happened which burnt out the electrical panels in the doors, causing the water and ice dispensers not to work. This was not a warranty issue and we called an approved LG repair person to get it fixed at our own cost. After two visits from the repairman, he tells us he "thinks" he will have to buy $500 worth of parts but isn't sure this will fix it. I called LG to see if I could get some assistance and after speaking with three people who barely spoke English and being hung up on an hour in, I finally was told that the technician has to call them, I can't. Now, two months later, the repair supervisor tells me I may as well go ahead and just buy a new refrigerator because he can't help me get it repaired. Don't waste your money on this refrigerator.

    This is a good refrigerator, however, the ice sprays all over when dispensing. This is the reason for a average rating.
